My licence for Kaspersky Internet Security is expiring at the end of the month and am planning to move to Kaspersky Plus as KIS now appears to be a legacy product. If I buy the licence to cover 3 devices, I assume this will include my iPhone and iPad running the Kaspersky Security & VPN for iOS (iPhone and iPad)

As I believe Apple Apps are sandboxed I wonder whether this means I would need to have the VPN turned ON all the time for Kaspersky Security & VPN to actually work?

Is this the case, or are the other aspects of the App able to function without the VPN being active?

No am in the UK .... and have just discovered that you do need to use the VPN for Kaspersky Security & VPN for iOS security features in the App to work on Apple devices.

Yes, You are right, You don't need VPN all the time, unless you were in the USA, where Kaspersky has been banned.

@Gniblett

FYI , on my iPhone/iPad the Phishing and Malware Filter is always turned on , then the ‘VPN’ icon is showing up but the VPN connection is not activated.
