  1. Hi, If you have installed the protection and network agent locally, you can launch the activation directly from KSC, however. Do you connect the network agent with KSC? You can verify it with a klnagchk: https://support.kaspersky.com/5107 Regards
  2. Welcome. Please post the full, complete detection details. Full file name, full path, full location, detection verdict. Post screenshot of Reports > Detailed reports > Detected objects. Main Kaspersky window > More Tools > Reports > upper right > Detailed reports > at the upper left, drop down from All Events to Detected objects. How to take and post screenshot: https://support.kaspersky.com/common/diagnostics/492 PrtSc (Print screen) key (upper right part of keyboard)> open Paint (Start > All programs > Accessories) > Edit > Paste, File > Save as (jpeg or png, Not bmp). When replying, bottom left of reply box > Drag files here to attach, or choose files... Submit reply.

Regarding the licenses, that’s perfectly fine, from the topic detail, it sounded as if you may have been using Kaspersky commercial software, it’s good it’s licensed as Kaspersky free software has configuration limitations & no Technical Support, which would make this harder to solve, all good👌 Have you tried adding exclusions for the blocked network path🤔 Please let me know? Thank you🙏 Additionally: if the Community cannot solve this, it would be a good idea to request help from Kaspersky Technical Support, they will need GSI & Windows Logs, as more than one operating system is involved, run the GSI tool for both systems, & they may need Traces, they will guide you to collect these if needed. After you submit the request, you’ll receive an automated email with an INC+12 digits reference #, then, normally, within 5 business days, a Kaspersky Lab human🕵 will contact you, also by email, you may continue to communicate with them via reply email & or by updating the INC in your MyKaspersky.com account.
  5. Hi Flood, thank you for the quick answer. There are different OSs- win 7 and win 10, build 1909. Same problem on both OS. Kaspersky anti-Virus 20.0.14.1085 YES. We have a couple of licenses. NO It is a custom application. We have an application server, SQL database. We just copy shortcuts from app server to the client computer. Please see attached picture We bought licenses from the official dealer, but it seems that licenses are home edition. Best regards! J

  7. Hi Flood, thanks for keeping this going. Not sure I understand your question "...what was connected to the computer?" It's a Sony Vayo Laptop in its docking station, external mouse, keyboard and monitor connected to the docking staion. That's it. Yes, I told MS. I got lot's of procedures from them, and followed them. Basically: cleanup system (delete everything unnecessary, temp, restore points, win update downloads etc.) and make sure Avira is totally removed. I followed a procedure by Avira themselves that MS recommended. That way I found some more Avira folders (in C:\programdata e.g.) and they proved extremely hard to delete. Deleted all of them in the end. Still: my search tool says, it still cannot access a lot of places, when looking for "Avira", so there still might be something very very hidden. hosts file: congrats, you are thorough! Forgot about that: changed the host files myself upon recommendation; was supposed to reduce annoying behaviour of that application. Can change back if important. Now following your recommendation, total removal of KSC with tool. On it. Thanks, will report. ch53e_de
  8. Yes it does. When I plug the pointer's USB transceiver into the computer, another "HID Keyboard Device" entry appears under "Keyboards" in Device Manager.
  9. Hi, I'm on the same problem than you. For doing it i've delete the local task on my KAV11 policy and create some task on KSC for update and virus scan. But for me the problem now is the task launch one time and not when the next schedule is comming.
  10. Hi, I use Kaspersky security center 10 for create virus scan and update task for the workstations of the enterprise where i'm the IT support. I create some task with schedule weekly and daily but the task launch at the good times but just one time and doesn't relaunch at the next schedule. Have you some idea of my problem ? I've tried a lot of modification on the task but no one works correctly.

  12. OK, browser cache cleared (Firefox) and temporary files deleted using Windows Utility tools. Computer restarted and nothing has really changed. By that I mean when I press the Windows logo key on my keyboard + R and type in service.msc there is no entry for Windows Update. In summary then, the situation as it stands at this moment is that: (a) I have no restore points. (b) Windows Update is not working (c) Many files over the past few days (.exe plus .swf and several others files not recorded by KIS although deleted by KIS) have simply disappeared. I am firmly of the opinion that the fault lies at the door of KIS as there is always a pop-up from KIS advising that files cannot be disinfected and are being deleted. It might be worth noting that no programmes have been manually update by me (including Adobe Flash) that would account for any of this. I make mention of this because swf files are associated with the latter mentioned.
  13. Hi, Bboylubsko Thank you for KRT core files! KRT crashes because it can't connect to XServer display. And all other applications can't be started due to same problem. XServer can refuse connections to existing X display if hostname has been changing on Wi-Fi connection. Please, provide screenshot with results of following test: 1) Run terminal 2) Execute command - echo ${HOSTNAME} 3) Try to connect to problem Wi-Fi network (don't close terminal) 4) In terminal execute command again - echo ${HOSTNAME} 5) Make screenshot (press Prt Scr button on keyboard) If values of HOSTNAME is different on step 2 and step 4 try to execute command in terminal - echo ${HOSTNAME} > /proc/sys/kernel/hostname and try to start any graphical application (KRT for example).

Kaspersky AV 19.0.0.1088(f), Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, Real VNC® Server 5.3.2 (r19179) x64 Accessing my PC remotely using RealVNC, I made a change to AV settings and got the confirmation required popup and was annoyed to find that I couldn't click the "Continue" button from the remote client. Fortunately, I was just upstairs in the den, so coming down to use the keyboard and mouse wasn't the end of the world.

  16. Hello, sorry for my bad English. Can someone help me? We moved our KSC server from an old domain to the new one. Everything went ok, but... When we install KSP to new clients, the agent tries to connect to KSC using the old server name, example: ksc.olddomain.net instead of ksc.newdomain.net To bypass this problem, on every new client, after the Agent installation, we launch the command klmover -address ksc.newdomain.net Theere must be something wrong in KSC settings, we searched, but IMHO everything is ok, the name and domain specified are correct... Have you any ideas? Thank you very much.

Well, I have been running some different tests with that eml file, and these are my conclusions: 1.- In FileAV module set to default Recommended or in Security Level set to High , it seems the file will not be detected on extracting or on access it (for example opening to the folder where is located), unless You open it with a mail client application. 2.- If You try to send it via a browser, the file will be detected (WebAV module in Default/Recommended Security Level). 3.- If You try to send it via an email client, for example via SMTP also the file is detected (MailAV module in Default/Recommended Security Level). 4.- If You run manual on demand scan/Selective Scan over the file (Security Level set to High), it will be also detected. Since this kind of file will remain harmless unless You open or send it, I am enough satisfied with Kaspersky's behaviour… so my suggestion is to set Selective, Quick and Full Scan settings to High Level, and keep in Recommended the resident modules FileAV, WebAV and MailAV. That file is already detected by Kaspersky, so no need to do extra working sending it to Kaspersky VirusDesk:

If the camera is blocked from the KIS privacy page and then FaceTime is opened the following: Attachment 1 If the Face Time App is then shut down, and the camera unblocked from the KIS privacy page: Attachment 2 Note in respect of Attachment 1 there is also a KIS banner that pops out from screen right saying the camera is blocked, i just wasn't quick enough to capture it in the screen shot. Additionally, if the camera is enabled and then disabled with FaceTime still active, the camera continues to work, but on the next opening of FaceTime it is again blocked. However, there are various status message that flash past. They go too quick to read properly. I believe I see obtaining authentication token, then redirecting… I could be mistaken, it goes so far. Latest version of the entire suite, including password manager, safe browsing, but not VPN. Premium. What do you mean authenticated account? It has *authentication*, that is what is failing. It does not appear to use an OAuth 2 solution, such as Google Account login. It has its own authentication solution that is specific to Mojang; e.g. cannot use MS Password. As the account is new, it’s never been tested before. Essentially, I cannot answer this question meaningfully. It may be an old issue, but the account is new, so I only just tried it. Do you mean in Kaspersky, or in Mojang? I don’t believe Mojang apply any age limits to Minecraft. It is a child under 13 in KSK.
  21. I would like to configure the KES 11 "Device Control" module but would like to use "Best Practice" or recommended methods so that I am not creating any issues. Can someone share screen shots of their settings or point me to a document. Specifically I want to control the USB ports on devices by limiting to an AD Group or User. But yet always allow some devices (Example had held scanner and Keyboard/mouse) for all users. Is there a Kaspersky service to assist us doing this? We are a MSA Plus customer.

  25. Welcome. Please download the Kaspersky Free English version , then uninstall your current version , reboot and install the EN version. Here is the download link https://www.kaspersky.com/free-antivirus You might have to change temporary your Windows keyboard or region settings.
