    Turning on Password Manager in Chrome protected browser

    I’ve just loaded the Password Manager to my desktop. I added the PM extension to Chrome, and it seems to work fine there. But when I launch a protected browser from Chrome, PM doesn’t work in the protected browser. I checked the extensions in the protected browser and there is none for PM. Anyone know how to add PM to the protected browser?

    Hello @Ignatius_Reilly, Re “what tells Kaspersky that the PC is “in use”? mouse or keyboard inputs, simply being logged in?”, none of those are logged by KSK Device use time, however, to assist, we do need to see the data please.   6. Hi @52daffodill, Once enabled (as per Friend response) the rootkit scan runs automatically once a day and after a PC restart. Also it runs as a part of Full Scan/Quick Scan, so if you have executed a Full Scan, there is no need to run rootkit scan additionally. Regards, Igor

    Thank you for the quick response. Windows Version: 10.0.19041 I restarted laptop and strangely seems to be working fine now so I’m not sure what happened...I hope this doesn’t end up being some kind of intermittent problem.

  10. Since I downloaded Kaspersky I can use the Quick Service Software on my laptop. I really need to use that software for work. Can anyone help me figure out what to do?
  11. Mine not updating, downloaded update and also created new file (i delete renamed file) and rename newest created file. This works. I use this method, but there working only blocking ads, secure keyboard input not working, kaspersky password manager extension with browser not working for now.
  12. Hello @Shizokok, Normally, Kaspersky Technical Support respond to submitted requests within 24 to 48 hrs, however, we say 5 days, because some people expect them to respond within an hour or 2. If “immediate/quick” support is needed, go to the Contacts page, select your Location, then select Application use & select Online Chat (not available all locations), & or Phone (not available all locations).   14. Every time I go to log into a web site that has a username/password I get a pop up from Kapersky that says “Kapersky...Security keyboard input is enabled”...is there anyway to disable that? I do not want pop up. https://imgur.com/a/7mDd0NJ
  15. Hi, I am having the same issue.. I did try the log non critical option, and it’s just too large.. Kaspersky said “one cloud objects were skipped”.. to find that ONE in such a massive report is impossible.. I already tried for half an hour and can’t do it. I would just like to know why this is happening and how to scan that object. I do not have one drive installed, i.e, with my new laptop, i uninstalled it. It’s an Aorus X5 V8 which came with very little junkware and no other malware protection like most laptops do.. in other words I was able to install kaspersky total security as the first and only AV suite on the machine… So I have no idea what could possibly be in the cloud that kaspersky can’t scan. I did have express VPN open at the time so I closed that and re scanned, and again, the same message about one file being skipped. Any ideas? 20.0.14.1085 is the version of Kaspersky Total Latest threat definitions. I have all default settings as the program was installed.. I haven’t mucked about with anything. The first time I performed a scan one week ago, after initial installation and threat database update, there was no such “cloud” message after scan. I have chrome installed as well as the new edge. I do not use kaspersky safe money (I will make another topic as to why, i’d love to use it, but the keyboard is broken here so I can’t use it). I am trying to think of anything I may have touched but really it was just a plain jane default install that followed all the recommended suggestions.

    Hello @prakharprasad, How did you conclude “installing an antivirus would remove flickering problem”? Does the flickering happen when Windows is run in SafeMode with Networking? If an onscreen keyboard is used does the screen flicker? May we have a GSI & Windows Logs? Please post a video of the “screen randomly flickering”? Please let us know? Thank you🙏 Flood🐳
  17. Just a thought/idea on how to make KPM a little more user friendly and easier to use. Giving the ability for users add/choose icons and or colours for folders. This would allow very quick reference just by looking rather than reading the folder name. Having the folders display in all the individual categories like: “websites, bank cards, ect” rather then only show in the “all entries” Tile view: On a 15.6” laptop screen, you are only able to fit “two rows for a maximum of 10 tiles”, please make the “size of the folder icons smaller” so a user is able to see a whole lot more. Also applies to “non folder entries” List View: Why when opening this view do all the entries always expand!? Giving the user the ability to “collapse all” or “stay collapsed” would be helpful to combat this. That's pretty much it. Keep up the great work Kaspersky Team!

Dear Kaspersky Free Antivirus Support Team, How’s things?, I just want to know is using an old version of your free antivirus safe to do so?, as I am on 20. 0.14.1085 (I) 2019 version, after finding it to be what I wanted in a free antivirus with easy to configure settings and with no sign of flaws. Both quick and full scans when tested separately was working well or should I use the 19.0.0.1088 of your free antivirus version instead.

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled KSK as recently as earlier today. I’ve also made sure I’ve updated to the latest version of KSK (1.0.5.6123 (e)). I’ve attached the GSI & Windows Logs file to this post.Thanks.

  25. Hello, I try to update my clients on ksc from kes 11.1 to 11.2. On most clients I get two errors messages and update failed (translated from french) : Error 1 : Patch installation error, file C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\KES\Patches\kes11\kes11_2\aes256\fr\kes_win.msi not found Error 2 : File use error, task launch not possible. How can I solve these errors ? System on clients is Windows 10 64bits 1909. Thanks by advance.
