  2. No but I found the fix, do you wanna know how I Fixed it? IT seems really dumb Launch into safe mode (with networking) Install the kaspersky protection chrome extension I don’t know why, but that fixed it, it was my last solution cause i realised i had an extension missing but thats so stupid that your internet wont work at all on any browser or discord unless you have the extension.

  4. Hello - I updated my browser to the new Edge version yesterday. A I was going through the settings, I saw two Kaspersky extensions, one for PWM, which was on, and one for Kaspersky Protection. I inadvertently deleted the protection extension. I reset the browser, but it was still gone. I then uninstalled/reinstalled KTS 20, Everything appears to be working, the extension appears to be installed as safe money, on-screen keyboard, etc. are working. I searched for the extension and only found the PWM extension. What should I do, if anything? Windows 10 Home, KTS20 fully updated. BC

Thanks for Your quick reply. sys-req confirmed - CPU Pentium N5000, 4GB RAM, Windows 10 Home, .NET 4.8, Windows Installer v5.0, internet >50Mbps, local WiFi on laptop 144/72Mbps 3. 4. done a few times. Last time before posting here. KSK version 1.0.5.6390(f) If there is just Kaspersky AV free - then it works great. When I install fresh KSK it just not working again.restested many times - still not working reported simultaneously with Kaspersky TechhSupportSince logged here I also logged in khanacademy. And it’s still loading after loging, no desktop, no user info. No option to log off. I can only clear browser data if i want to try to login again. Even closing browser do not help - if i want to try again i have to clear browser data. While trying to log on different computer, without KSK, it works good. I attach printscreen of it.
  6. Hello, Could you press F12 Keyboard keys to take part in a small investigate? Press F12 Re-flash the page by shift+F5 combination key. Tell us about the content in “Console” and the items which state isn't 200 in ”Network”. Regards.

Image2: anyone logging into their own MyKaspersky account, with KTS installed and activated on their device, but not synchronised with a MyKaspersky account. To answer the questions: 1I could provide the 5 pc activation code to the other 4, they’d be able to activate their antivirus if they do not create a MyKaspersky account? Yes, a MyKaspersky account isn’t necessary to activate the software &, even if they did create a MyKaspersky account, they would not be able to associate it with your license, bc, you’ve purchased a 1 user, 5 device license; I user = 1 MyKaspersky account, not 5 MyKaspersky accounts. Kaspersky Security Cloud – Family, 20 devices, 20 user account license is available for 2+ user accounts. The Kaspersky Security Cloud – Family subscription owner can share the software with up to 19 family members; invited family members also need to create their own MyKaspersky account. 2 Can they use the antivirus locally without any kind of link to the My Kaspersky account that I own? Yes, locally applied and activated AV is what you & they need to do & it’s never recommended to give access to your MyKaspersky account. 3 Will I be needing to link my account to their PC because the license is associated with the account that I own? No, it’s not necessary to have or use a MyKaspersky account for the licensed software to work. Not using a MyKaspersky account doesn’t impede the use and or effectiveness of the software. Not using a MyKaspersky account simply means the features, available with a MyKaspersky account, will not be utilised, for example Remotely manage the protection of devices using the MyKaspersky account. 4 Will all 5 users (including me as the holder of primary account) be able to use the activated version for 2 years, with/without a MyKaspersky account? Yes, absolutely. 5So far, I have figured out that a MyKaspersky account is not needed for the activation of the antivirus. Am I right ?   11. Thank you for the quick reply. I don’t use Safe Kids. With Parental Control it is easy enough to just keep a whitelist of domains. The really important feature is its ability to forbid use of specific applications. Among other things this prevents my child from perusing bookmarks and web history. I simply designate a browser for him and block the others. It means I can set him loose on my Steam account without worrying that he will play games that have microtransactions or open chat. I am baffled that this functionality has somehow been restored, because I see no sign of it in the patch notes and yesterday it was gone. I’m reluctant to contact Technical Support on this, because if it’s a mistake I don’t want it fixed.

I remember a K. developer commented in the community that will back... anyway I never run full scans, I would dare to say that they are not necessary… I ran scheduled (everyday) Quick Scans, with some system folders added to the scope (where malware usually attack the system → C:\ProgramData\ C:\Users\), that would be more than enough… all the not scanned folders in the device are covered by FileAV resident protection in case You access to them, so I consider a waste of time and resources to run a full scan… Added: a small tweak to change in Full Scan settings:

  16. Hello, We have a KSC 10 on a Windows 2008 server with SQL Express 2008. KES 10 and KSWS 10.0 are installed on the computers. We would like to migrate to KSC 11 but on a different machine with a new SQL Express for example Windows Server 2016 and SQL Express 2016. Then next step would be to move the KES 10 to KES 11 and KSWS 10.0 to KSWS 10.1. My question is how can I achieve that? I have seen that it is possible using multiple ways but I would like to know which is the best one and how best to do it? The ways that I have thought of are: 1: Install a new Windows Server 2016 with new SQL and Install KSC 11 on this one. Create all the necessary strategies such as KES 11 and KSWS 10.1.2 and then run the task “Change Management Server” on the KSC 10. Then launch the installation of KES 11 and KSWS 10.1.2 on the machines. 2: Do a backup and then restore it on the new machine and then update the strategies and tasks. If someone else has any other advice or ways on how can I achieve it, It would be really helpful. I need to start on next monday so its really urgent. Thank you in advance for your help.

I did a quick online search with my login id and found no obvious impersonation or malicious use yet. Let me know if I should ask somewhere else. The 12yr old default KSK profile is shown in the images 1 - 4, with an additional Youtube Allow exclusion, image 5 is what the child sees, image 6 - result: Youtube, image 7, delete profile confirmation screen - referred to further on: ❔ Has Youtube ever worked? ❔ How long has KSK been installed? ❔ Is KSK subscription or free version? Please do the following: Confirm KSK Computer requirements ? Remove KSK - follow the documentation carefully In your MyKaspersky account, delete both children’s profiles - image 7 above Reboot, shutdown computer using Shutdown, not Restart, power computer on, login Download & install a new KSK installer - follow the documentation carefully Configure KSK - follow the documentation carefully Retest Youtube access?   21. Thank you for that info! In that case please provide us with KES traces collected during update. To do so please start KES traces and then launch update task. Please make sure that *HST* file is created. Please provide us with full set of trace files.

    Windows 10.0.18362 Build 18362 KPM version 9.0.2.1445 (g) / 1576742241_6376 / 1.0.363.0-0.8.3.0_1 KPM Chrome extension version 5.0.0.39 Chrome version 79.0.3945.88 (Official Build) (64-bit) My Kaspersky suite includes Safe Money which, when a banking/credit card site is accessed in Chrome, will instead launch the website in a separate Chrome “protected browser”. The protected browser is a separate browser operating mode designed to protect data. It is different from an incognito browser. Image of regular chrome browser with PM icon for Username and Password, followed by protected browser with neither: Kaspersky Internet Security version 20.0.14085(g). I don’t know how to get the version #s, etc. for any of the below components. The KPM is the free one.

    Turning on Password Manager in Chrome protected browser

    I’ve just loaded the Password Manager to my desktop. I added the PM extension to Chrome, and it seems to work fine there. But when I launch a protected browser from Chrome, PM doesn’t work in the protected browser. I checked the extensions in the protected browser and there is none for PM. Anyone know how to add PM to the protected browser?
