  2. Hello @Roy, Welcome! (1) On Android: sign into your online MyKaspersky account, make sure your password data is available. (2) On PC, sign into your MyKaspersky account, make sure your device and MyK account are connected, synced. (3) If (1) & (2) are correct, automatic synchronization of data occurs as per the following advice: When you add data to your vault on one device, the application automatically sends this data to cloud storage, then from cloud storage to your other devices that have Kaspersky Password Manager installed and that are connected to My Kaspersky using the same My Kaspersky account. Keeping your data up-to-date and consistent on all your devices also helps restore your data if you replace or lose a device. The status of data synchronization is displayed in the synchronization window. Sync data manually Unlock the vault by entering the master password and tapping Unlock. If your device is running Android 6.0 or later, supports fingerprint authentication, and fingerprint authentication is enabled in the app settings, you can use it to unlock your vault instead of entering the master password. In the main app window, tap or swipe the screen to the right. The quick access bar appears on the left. On the quick access bar, tap Sync. In the window that opens view the status of data sync and tap Sync now. Kaspersky Password Manager starts data sync. Thank you. Sync data across devices
  3. While macOS is inherently secure, I’m a firm believer that all operating systems require a form of protection from malware. As Kaspersky is causing my computers to be unstable, I have moved to another product. I can confirm that I am no longer experiencing freezing after the device wakes nor random hangs which I have now attribute to Kaspersky. I won’t post the vendor publically however if you are interested, please feel free to PM me. Good luck to everyone else.

    Hello @ISpeye, You’re very welcome! Thank you for replying. Re MBAMKIS20 & MBAM (incompatibility) is new, if (users) wish to retain MBAM, do not use with MBAM Real Time Protection enabled. Have you removed or changed MBAM?Re “And just now it ran OK in regular mode. Does that mean it’s fixed?”My recommendation, monitor for a week, if “KIS Update stops at 97%” repeats, follow What to do if the database update process gets stuck & report any issues please? Hi, So today i just started my PC and when i logged into Windows 10 i saw a notification in which was saying “Application databases not updated” and it also said “error resolving network name” Any ideas why this happened ? I’m using Kaspersky Antivirus 2019. Here is also a screenshot. I’m using a router, but i have an internet cable in my PC also. Edit : The issue seems to have dissappeared now after i waited about 15-20 min and KAV update itself. I think i might have fast startup enabled in my Win 10. Was that the cause ? Also i found on the web on the older kaspersky forums that someone said that updating the status of the license helps.

Yo uso Windscribe Free y en principio no tengo problemas con Kaspersky 2020, no he probado F-Secure VPN FreeDome… No creo que evite que Kaspersky analice el tráfico en busca de malware que llega finalmente a tu sistema, y en cuanto a hacerlo inseguro, tampoco creo tal cosa, la VPN simplemente te cambiará la IP pública en InterNet, todo lo demás debería funcionar de igual manera :) Saludos.
  7. Edge chromium Insider and I keep getting this error message. I have exported the cert and added to the trusted certificate authority (local machine) but still getting that annoying error dialog. Also, why is my version of Kaspersky not updated to 2020 , given the expense of renewing my subscription. BTw the support request form is useless as not matter what I enter in the mandatory fields the submit/save button is not enabled - perhaps you should test this.

    Hello @Sheila.Kailus, As I don’t know your daughters device, this may or may not help: What to do when your iPhone says an app has been using your location in the background If it’s an iOS 13 device: “The new version of iOS, Apple’s mobile operating system, offers more awareness of what apps are doing when you’re not using them.After upgrading to iOS 13, you may start to receive notifications that say things like, “Facebook has used your location 34 times in the background in the past 3 days.” The prompts come with a little map that seems to indicate where you’ve been over that time, and ask if you “want to continue to allow background location use.” The article has guidance to follow. KSK, if “Where is my child” is enabled does, by nature of the feature, use Geolocation & GPS, that would certainly explain, if the device is an iOS, why & how the alerts have “appeared”. If the alerts are from KSK, please let me know, I’m happy to work with you on the issue? Thank you

How to find out which version of Kaspersky Safe Kids is installed on your device? Is KSK “Where is my child” enabled? Is the message: “Safe Kids used (child’s) location 76 times in the background over the past 3 days”, a push notification, an email, a popup? May I have a screen image of the message please? Please log into your MyKaspersky account, select KIDS tab, select Summary, select 7days, in the lower righthand corner of the KSK screen, select download icon, “Export summary to a file”, this will download the Summary Report (as a .csv file), to your desktop. Please upload the Report to cloud storage of your choice, and PM the link to me please? Please post back? Thank you
  14. I already found it and added the IP address, now the hostname but I’m unable to properly open vSphere. Now it’s a Chrome issue not KES. XXXXXXXXXX normally uses encryption to protect your information. When Google Chrome tried to connect to XXXXXXXXXX this time, the website sent back unusual and incorrect credentials. This may happen when an attacker is trying to pretend to be XXXXXXXXXX, or a Wi-Fi sign-in screen has interrupted the connection. Your information is still secure because Google Chrome stopped the connection before any data was exchanged. You cannot visit XXXXXXXXXX right now because the website uses HSTS. Network errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page will probably work later.

Hello @display10, Thank you so much🙏 🤸 So, going back to the very beginning: (a) “URL advisor is enabled in my KIS 2020 but there is no extension called url advisor in my firefox” (b) “I have selected “check all url’s”, but I don’t see a green icon beside the links on the pages”, 1 Are both (a) & (b) now resolved? 2 When Kaspersky Protection addon is now opened (see my image) what is now shown? Please post image? 3 Firefox - do you use a Master Password? 4 (in) Firefox, enter about:preferences#privacy - please post a full image of Browser Privacy settings please? 5 KIS, Network Settings, scroll to the bottom of the window, may I have an image of Mozilla Firefox & Thunderbird please?   16. @richbuff I would have, but my current license is for KAV 2016 so if go by the -1/+3 rule then i’d probably have to purchase a new license for KAV 2020. On my current license i still have like 7-8 months and it works on KAV 2019. But when it expires i will probably get a new license for KAV 2020. Also, one more thing. KAV 2019 installed an addon in firefox. In firefox in the addon menu it shows it’s enabled. But when i look in the upper right corner i firefox, the icon for the addon is grey not green. What happened ? Was the installation of KAV 2019 on my PC messed up or something ? Or is it supposed to be like that, supposed to be grey not green ?
  17. @harlan4096 I’m not sure if WD is disabled. I haven’t used the Group Policy yet, but i made a few print screens. Can you please tell me if WD enabled or not ? In “WD runing” the WD logo is still in the tray. In “WD runing 2” it only says Kaspersky Antivirus in “Virus & threat protection”, it doesn’t say Windows defender. In “WD runing 3” in task manager in details tab MsMpEng.exe is not present. Can you please tell me if WD is disabled or not based on these photos ? I have no idea.
  18. URL advisor is enabled in my KIS 2020 but there is no extension called url advisor in my firefox. I have selected “check all url’s” But I don’t see a green icon beside the links on the pages Is there something wrong?

(Type winver in Windows Search🔍 field) For Windows, I don’t understand the remark “ KSK not working and disconnected.”, is KSK uninstalled on the Windows device? If not, select KSK shortcut on your desktop, or go to Windows Start Menu, select All programs, find KSK, start KSK, on the Windows Taskbar, rightclick KSK icon, select “About”? May I have an image of the Application categories please? May I know the age of your child please? Have you enabled “Age restrictions based on public age-appropriate ratings”? Re “All of the App Categories had switched to Allowed”, does that mean “previously”, all Appplication Categories were not “Allowed”, and now all Application Categories are now “Allowed”? Of these KSK categories: Where is my child? Internet, Device use, Applications, Social networks, Profile - which categories have been configured? Please post back or, you may prefer to raise a case with Kaspersky Technical Support? Thank you
  21. Vielen Dank für die Antwort. Darf ich als Endbenutzer bitte fragen, was FPs sind? Kürzlich habe ich, wenn ich das korrekt erinnere, irgendwo drübergelesen, dass die Software von Kaspersky Labs mit der ich im Allgemeinen wie auch im Speziellen immer sehr zufrieden war, bei 64bit-Win10-Architektur Funktionseinschränkungen aufweist. Der erste Gedanke von mir war, dass sich diese Funktionseinschränkungen durch die Aktivierung der Win10-internen Antivirus-Setups eventuell beheben ließen. Für eine genaue Beurteilung ist mein Wissensstand viel zu gering. Ich war erleichtert, als ich gelesen habe, das Notebook das ich jetzt gerade im Moment benutze die 32bit-Version von Win10 nutzt. Die Angelegenheit mit dem doppelt aufscheinenden Icon des Passwort-Manager, in auffälliger Abweichung zur Darstellung auf den sonst noch in Verwendung befindlichen EDV-Geräten … ist nicht als Folge eines Absturzes zu werten, da es dazu keine Anzeichen gab. Es hat sich herausgestellt, dass die Taskleistensymbol-Einstellungen wohl so sind, dass eine Einstellung dafür da war, das Icon direkt neben der Uhr aufscheinen zu lassen, während das zweite die Einstellung dafür gewesen zu sein scheint, das Icon in einem durch anklicken aufscheinenden Menü neben der Uhr …. angezeigt wird. Was die VPN-Qualität betrifft wird eine unbeschränkte, käuflich erworbene Lizenz genutzt. Die m. E. Teil der Kaspersky Labs Internet Security Suite ist. Die Erfahrung hier scheint zu sein, dass es auch mit der unfreien Version immer wieder mal zu Verbindungsabbrüchen kommt. Mir ist im Rahmen der Bearbeitung dieses Falls, oder der aktuellen, persönlichen EDV-Sicherheitsrichtlinie auch aufgefallen, dass es im Programm Secure Connection die Option gibt, eine Ereignisprotokollierung zu aktivieren, wo es diverse Untereinstellungen gibt. Diese sollen aber ausschließlich nach Rücksprache mit einem Experten vom Support aktiviert werden. Und wenn ich das richtig verstanden habe, etwas damit zu tun haben, um bei der Mithilfe zur Programmverbesserung etwas erwirken zu können, oder besser. Danke nochmal…
  22. Hallo @7AIR, ein nachträgliches Willkommen. Zuerst mal eine Erklärung zum “Sammeln von Informationen”: wenn KIS oder die “Secure Connection” (KSeC) abstürzen, wird das in einem Log vermerkt. Beim nächsten Rechnerstart werden erstellte Dumps und Log-Dateien gesammelt, die dem Support Aufschluss geben können. Dann wird um Erlaubnis gefragt, diese Daten zu senden. Wenn Deine Internetverbindung das hergibt, kannst Du gerne zustimmen. Damit hilfst Du, das Produkt zu verbessern. Doppeltes Icon: nach einem Absturz eines KL-Produkts startet sich dieses in der Regel neu. Dabei kann es vorkommen, dass das Icon der vorherigen Instanz noch sichtbar ist. Wenn Du mit dem Mauszeiger darüber fährst, verschwindet es. Verbindungsprobleme mit KSeC: benutzt Du die mitgelieferte eingeschränkte Version oder hast Du eine zusätzliche Lizenz erworben? Aus eigener Erfahrung kann ich sagen, dass die Free-Version ab und zu Verbindungsprobleme hat. Deine Erfahrungen mit dem Defender kann ich leider nicht beurteilen, ich nutze ihn nicht. Laut Tests ist er aber anfällig für FPs, oft auch bei älterer Software. Ich hoffe, ein Win10/Acronis-User kann Deine weiteren Fragen beantworten.
