  1. Hello @Flood and Flood's wife. 1. Sure, I'll ask proper colleagues. 2. The link, you provided above, (https://support.kaspersky.com/KSDE/common/en-US/230996.htm) is related to all platforms (Win, Mac, iOS, Android), there is no any Windows specific. And there have never been any restrictions regarding torrent proto. Thank you,
  2. Hello LRC, It looks there was some misunderstanding while talking with our support engineer. Sorry for that. We strongly do not endorse use our service to get illegal access to copyrighted materials, however there shouldn't be any issues to use torrents legally. Be advised that using torrenting is potentially dangerous (malware, etc) if you get torrent file from untrusted source. Most of our premium VPN locations supports torrenting. A difference between windows and mac versions is that windows one helps you to select the best one for your use case. Our VPN service (as many others) behaves as NAT Firewall and prevents any incoming connections. That could be difference why some rare files could be downloaded without VPN and couldn't with VPN enabled. Another option is that linked torrent tracker intentionally blocks any connections from VPN servers and you cannot get peers from it. Also there could be some incompatibility with your torrent client. Try to download another file (for example, Ubuntu OS image), try to use another torrent client, try to enable DHT in torrent client settings. Please let us know if it doesn't work, we'll contact you privately to gather technical details. p.s. we could reply delayed this week because of long public holidays in our region.
  3. All leaks are on client side, so if you are using 3rd party OpenVPN client please check its settings. Also please look through https://nixfaq.org/2021/04/how-to-block-local-ipv6-leak-when-connected-to-an-ipv4-only-openvpn-connection-on-gnu-linux.html WebRTC should be disabled in browser to prevent leak.
  4. Hello @Tormas You could find it: 1) in network adapter settings of guest OS if the OS supports them 2) in browser
  5. Hi @richard_dev, have you solve your issue? What OS and Kaspersky VPN versions have you installed? Does "local debug port" on the same PC? Do you use split tunneling feature? Frankly speaking, Kaspersky VPN does nothing with localhost connections and system hosts file, so it is very interesting to dive deeper into your case. P.S. It is better to keep all setting of Kaspersky Secure Data Escort Adapter (or Kaspersky VPN Adapter in newer versions) with them default values.
  6. Hello @Tormas, Please check if you have DNS over HTTPs enabled on vPC's ethernet adapter and/or in your vPC's Internet browser? If so, please disable it. If your vPC is intended to use with Kaspersky VPN only, it is safer to change DNS settings in vPC to 198.51.100.1 and 198.51.100.2. Please let us know if something is changed.
  7. Hello! You could fill the CA Cert field only with the shortest one from .ovpn file.
  8. Hello! The issue have been fixed, please check it within your environment (Please note that you might be required to reissue your OpenVPN credentials at https://my.kaspersky.com/VPN page). Thank you for patience.
  9. It looks that forcing DNS-over-Https by 3rd party apps is root cause of topic issue. The solution for chrome is provided here If this solution doesn't work for please contact Tech support https://support.kaspersky.com/us/b2c/US to provide more details. Thanks.
  10. Hello, Thanks for details. We found the root cause. Unfortunately a proper fix will take a time, it will be fixed in January.
  11. Если включена функция 'Kill switch' в настройках, то в целом - да, блокирует все. Хотя на не-windows платформах в силу архитектурных ограничений OS могут появляться такие "нежданчики" с точки зрения трафика, который генерирует сама операционная система
  12. What version of openvpn client do you use? if it is 2.6.x or latter please try to downgrade client to 2.5.x version. Otherwise, client connection logs will be very helpful.
  13. What location are you connecting to? Have you tried to selected another one? Is the 'Kill switch' option switched on or off?
  14. Не очень понятно. На приложенном видео Вы воспроизводите проблему со сторонним OpenVPN клиентом. Какая тут связь между локальными портами и "KSC" (KSC - это же secure connection судя по ветке форума?), приложение которого в этот момент не активировано?
  15. Hello, Basically you cannot run two VPNs on the same windows device at the same time. You could try to use a virtual machine with AnyConnect and installed Kaspersky VPN at VM's host or configure Kaspersky VPN on your router. The second option works for me without any issues right now.
  20. @tellatabi hi! Could I ask you to add some details? Do you prefer to choose US region instead of particular city? Why is selecting region more “effective”? Thank you in advance.
  21. @uturnin900miles yes, I’ve got, but what is the reason? Legal issues? Performance? Privacy concerns? Both of DNS servers show almost same speeds in my case, both support DoH. Privacy concerns are mitigated by fact that my DNS requests are mixed with DNS request from other users at the same VPN server. Do I miss the key point?
