Is this supposed to be like it? First of all I want to assure you I do not have any active malware that would try to open anything - you can test it out yourself. I for exampe just search a dangerous site and Kaspersky instantly blocks it without opening. Does it mean something tried to load, or is it just some sort of “prevention”? Because if something did try to load, I find it strange, since I didnt open anything. This happens in google search. I also recently used Google Images and found it strange that the same sort of warning came out(about phising) when clicking on(increasing size) image, but without going on the site. Hello guys, recently my KIS popped up a notification like 8 times under one minute and it happened in any other day too. It said “The network attack Scan.Generic.PortScan.TCP has been blocked” I’ve been searching in the internet that the PortScanning is kinda dangerous, and can steal data. The attack came from the same IP but different port, I’ve also looked up the attacking computer IP, and found that the IP is private and I cannot locate it (although maybe not important to locate). Hi, i am using Mac kaspersky. I cannot browse Netflix today since ‘Your connection is not a private connection’, but i still browse yesterday. I can browse Netflix if i close the kaspersky application. Is there any problem?

I have just installed a new printer (HP Officejet 9010) and Kaspersky Internet Security is blocking a network attack from the printer. The printer is on my local network and so I kn ow it is OK. How do I set an exclusion to the Network Attack blocker? I can see instructions for a Mac but not for Windows. I am using version 20.0.14.1085. I have a screen shot, but I can’t see where I can post it on this forum.

Good morning to everyone. I have the following doubt: Regarding files anti-virus, it indicates certain unprocessed files. The files anti-virus report indicates its size as a reason. How is this possible with me having the maximum file anti-virus settings, scanning all files?

Just now when i start Outlook I get persistent error every time I click anything. The Add-in “Kaspersky Mail Checker” (C:\Program Files(x86)\Kaspersky Lab\Kaspersky Internet Security 21.2\mcou.dll) cannot be loaded and has been disabled by Outlook. How do I TURN OFF Secure Keyboard Input? It is always IN THE WAY and always ANNOYING! I use Firefox and the Secure Keyboard Input pop-up is always in the way. It is driving me crazy! Any help would surely be appreciated!

Goodnight. For several days I have noticed that the database update takes more than 10 hours to update. Today is another one of those days, as the image documents in my schedule (CET-1), it's 8:00 PM and the last time of distribution of the database was at 9:01 AM (with so many threats that the world currently lives ). Hi, Our website has been falsely flagged as a phishing site. We have throughly checked every website and server and there is no malware present. The site is only accessible for registered users, therefore only a login-component is shown. The site does not pretend to be any other entity. I'd like to request a re-evaluation. I just went to my office where I have a password-secured internet connection. On my desktop Kaspersky is saying the connection is secured, but on my phone it's giving me the warning that the (same) connection is unsecured. Both phone and desktop connect automatically. I have never gotten the unsecured message before. TIA for any help.

For some reason, Kaspersky Lab Launcher is using too much of my laptop's CPU! more than 20% of all time whether I am doing something or not. Is this the norm here? if this is the case then this is truly inefficient tool to use.

I have had my bank attached to the safe money browser for a long time but suddenly I am getting a message that my Self Defence is disabled. When I go through all the setting my self defence is on and the link to the bank account it there enabled . I did read to go in and change the self defence to enable - it was already so unticked the box and got a confirmation request . When I ticked the enable box again to enable I didn't get a confirmation request. It all says it is on but still won't work when I go in to my bank. I am using KIS 2019. Blocking malicious unsafe connections is great. However, sometimes I need to review them. When I type some keywords to sort out the application (with red square), they appear just a couple of seconds then DISSAPEAR. Same things happened when I review quarantined files. This is annoying, the previous KIS have no similar issues. The product that we purchased should work as we want. Another thing is, I am working with Python, all module packages should be downloaded and installed from network source, KIS blocked them all. To continue, I have to disable KIS, let my PC vulnerable to finish updating those modules. I think KIS developer should figure it so…

File Anti-Virus Reports will not stop creating records that are entitled: 'Object (file) contains no threats' or 'Object (file) not processed'. It was doing this in KIS 18 so I have just updated to KIS 19 but it is still non-stop reporting. PC is Win7 but it doesn't do this on another Win7 PC running KIS 18. It partly appears to be a background scan and partly application file checking. How do I stop sometimes 100's of records per minute being written to the report?

I can't download any files on my new computer via Google Chrome to a network drive. Each time I try, I get "Virus Scan Failed". Only Chrome is affected, and only network drives. If I turn off File Anti-Virus in Kaspersky, I can download no problem. I have the scope set in File Anti-Virus to not check network drives, but it seems it's doing this anyway. Anyone have any idea where to look from here? I used the same program on my old computer, downloaded to the same location, and it always worked, I never had to make changes to it.

I’ve been using KIS for many years, but recently I moved to Windows 10 in a new PC. I installed KIS2019, however I have constant warnings from KIS every time I try to install completely safe programs. I get multiple warnings about programs “attempting to create embedded keys or parameters” for almost everything. This never happened before. I have to “Allow now” many pop up windows and it’s very annoying and time-consuming. I’m not talking about anything strange. I even got a message yesterday after a Steam update. Hi, I haven’t seen this error message for virtualization anywhere else I looked, its saying the my operating system is not stable when using it. Is there anyway to fix this without doing a clean install of Windows 10?

Hello everyone, since a few weeks my kaspersky makes it impossible for me to upload new videos on my YouTube account. The upload stucks after a few percent of progress. When I deactivate Kaspersky the upload works, but that cannot be the solution. I already tried to set YouTube into the list of trustworthy websites. Can you tell me which configuration in the setting can fix this problem please? Other information: Parental control is deactivated and I did not change any settings. It just stops working a few weeks ago.

I keep getting a notification saying Threat of Data loss Blocked Link and then the same part of an https address. What does this mean and should it be unblocked somehow. Thank you.

Hi All, Ive been experiencing this issue for a while now so I decided to ask for help here. I noticed that safe money does not open when I try to go to “https://www.chase.com”. Instead, the regular browser goes to the web site. I even added the web site so it always opens in safe money. This didnt help either. This has been happening on Chrome and FireFox. Im running Kaspersky Internet Security 21.2.16.590, however this issue has been ongoing on the previous version as well. The only way to force this web site to open is safe money is to go to the list of web sites on safe money itself and click on the link from there. As per the advice from @Flood and Flood's wife I turn my mobile off every week and check that KIS loads on boot. I checked yesterday and KIS was working - today it is not. I just installed Kaspersky Internet Security. When Thunderbird accesses my email server, I get a certificate error. Kaspersky allows me to override the error by clicking on two different popups, but how can I add my mail server to Kaspersky’s trusted email servers? I don’t want to have to clear two errors every time Thunderbird checks my email.

Hello, Is Thunderbird supported in anti-spam? I remember using KIS maybe 5 or more years ago, and it was working by automatically tagging messages with [SPAM]. But in the last few years, I never saw this feature working. And at the beginning of this year, I did a fresh install of Windows 10 which I've been using until now, but Anti-Spam still isn't working with Thunderbird. I'm receiving messages via pop3. And I even tested the feature by putting one of my own addresses in "blocked senders" list, but to no avail.
