Hi, I want to update in my WSL - Ubuntu the python installation The command is ‘conda install passlib’. At the installation process stops Kaspersky the process and deletes the python3.7 executable. My host system: Windows 10 Windows Subsystem for Linux Distributor ID: Ubuntu Description: Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS Release: 18.04 Codename: bionic Kaspersky Internet Security 20.0.14.1085(g) I tried to add an exception to the python folder, but it doesn't seem to be a solution to my problem. How can I suppress the Kaspersky activity for Python or the WSL? Regards

After the New Year, KIS is no longer able to update it’s Database tables. KIS Version 20.0.14.1085f Currently there is a red icon with a white exclamation point. When I manually attempt to update my database is just cycles, but never does anything. why can't KIS be configured to allow FaceTime but not other apps. I either have to leave webcam on or disable the "off" feature every time i want to use FaceTime . This should be an option under settings.

I have a computer running Windows 10 Professional. I have Kaspersky Internet Security. I was recently alerted to a detection of HEUR.Trojan-Downloader.Script.Generic. When I tried to resolve it, the exclamation point icon turned to a spinning circle for about a second, and then went back to the exclamation point. KIS says that the detection was an e-mail attachment. I use Thunderbird on my desktop, and webmail for Gmail and Outlook. As far as I can tell, I never received an e-mail from the account that it claims the detection was found in. I never opened any unusual attachments. Win 10pro/64-1909; after installing NIS, I added to the firewall some apps new rules and everything was ok, the firewall allowing to make changes without any special user confirmation; I also added new trustworthy subgroups and related apps to be ruled, this operation also led without any problem. From yesterday I found that something has changed, when I try to apply a new rule to an app a pop up ask me for “user confirmation……….”; also, and this is really strange and worrying, the insertion of a new app is not allowed (NIS firewall opens the window to make the app (.exe) choice, but then nothing is added to the subgroup). applock function is not working properly in my phone. The applock screen will show up, when switching the app. I cannot switch between apps normally. Also, the lock screen will show again, when i am checking the notification bar and it is annoying. I have tired another applock app, it works fine on Android10. Fluff Hello! I am trying out Kaspersky demo, to switch from my current AV. I mostly like what I see. It took some time to make it get along with Revo Uninstaller and with WSL, but I did it. However, one problem persists. Problem I use Win 10 Pro and I use Hyper-V virtual machines a lot. Hyper-V creates virtual ethernet card, called “vEthernet(Default switch)”. it's been a while that i have this problem while launching Rainbow 6 , battle eye keeps saying : blocked loading of file klhkum.dll and it fails to run the game. i googled the problem and found out that dll file is related to kaspersky antivirus ,so i looked for the rules and other things related about firewall and etc, i also paused the protection and it didn't work then i uninstalled the antivirus and tried it again and it worked! so i dont know what to do to solve this problem with a permanent solution ! i also use kaspersky internet security 2019 (by its latest version ) and there is no signs of virus or anything suspicious .

Hi, I have a KIS 2015 license that was NEVER activated (as I was trying out KTS instead)...however I did add it to my Kaspersky account and there it stayed inactive as I always had very good experiences (with Kaspersky reps until now) and wasn't worried about doing so. So this rep claims that my unactivated license was activated years ago, however my memory AND the kaspersky's systems says: "license is not in use" and expiration: "365 days remaining"...so it's either I and the Kaspersky activation system are smoking up contraband or this rep is. Last month I purchased 2 extra installs of KIS as part of my annual renewal. This was in anticipation of purchasing two smart phones. When I started the recently purchased (two) Sony Xperia XA2 (other s’phones are available! 😉 (one for me one for wife) I found AVG already installed. My questions are :- If I install KIS for Android will it overwrite AVG? Will KIS conflict with AVG and give me false positives / poor protection? Is the best method of install to:- Force Stop & Disable AVG and then install KIS for Android? Leave the phone alone and put up with AVG? 😥

Strangely enough, the setting at mail.google.com is always changed by Kaspersky 'Google Chrome uses webcam'. In fact, only with Google Mail. I can exclude malware. Listed as Other Networks, I see the Public Network must be a constant, for me to use my network. This for me, seems improbable and incorrect, but maybe someone could enlighten me on the usage of the software, and tell me whether this process running, is supposed to be like this all the time. Or am I supposed to be able to have a trusted network, without having the public network, listed under Other Networks, running?
