Kaspersky: Basic, Standard, Plus, Premium

I'm using Kaspersky Premium 21.13.5.506(a) on Microsoft Windows 10 Professional x64 Build 19044. Sometimes I visit websites which want to know my location and I want to allow that specific website to know my location for a better user experience and I am willing to trust that specific website with my location to do so. Google Chrome (currently at version 114.0.5735.199 (Official Build) (64-bit)) as my web browser. Yes, I know I can use "Split Tunneling" and different browser to do connect to such websites, but I'm wondering whether there is a more nuanced, specific solution that won't allow me to use a second browser to do this. After my previous post.. I had ANOTHER problem with my premium 10 license, here is what I sent to Kaspersky "I have another problem, an amazingly annoying one. I have a 10 device Premium license.. which I share with family on their PCs (All win 10/11... up to date). Looking at "My Kaspersky" I can see it installed on 9 devices... but one of them shows with a yellow exclamation mark. When I look at the details.. it says its using my subscription... says it has 300 days left and says Kaspersky premium installed. but seems to be warning "Your licence has been converted" (presumably because it was upgraded from Kaspersky internet security) "Please renew the license to stay protected" (See screen shot)... Greetings folks, I think I asked this question years ago on the old forums, and I can't remember the answer. Does Quick scan and Full scan include a rootkit scan? I only ever run Quick scans, the only time I will run a Full scan is if Kaspersky detects something in a Quick scan. I also have background/rootkit scan turned off, as I prefer to run all scans manually. It occurred to me the other day that if this function is turned off and Quick scans don't include Rootkit scans then I'm never actually scanning my PC for rootkits.

Hi, I just installed Kaspersky and the Firefox addon plugin. I can see that it is working in Firefox, but how can you access the addon settings in FF ? How do you access the sites whitelisted/blacklisted? I would have expected some sort of Kaspersky icon in the toolbar or something. At the moment I have removed the Addon because some sites were just blocked and I could not whitelist them. Thanks

My Kaspersky programme has started to block my screen recorder programme. Every time I use it, it blocks it after 15 seconds. Techsmith, the programme providers, have said that Kaspersky is hitting the .trec recording file while it is being created. How do I go into the programme to manage apps and stop this? I cannot locate that part on the programme. Thanks.

I bought I license for 2 years Security Cloud on Amazon thinking this would give me unlimited VPN access. I made a mistake and should have bought Premium which is the same price on Amazon. Is there any way of making the VPN unlimited with the license I have bought or do I have to stick with 500mb a day. It’s confusing with Premium and Security Cloud being exactly the same price on Amazon and Security Cloud mentioning the secure VPN on the information.

My Total Security licence expires in the next month and I have bought a new licence for Kaspersky Premium from Amazon. What is the best way to move across. Previously I have entered the new licence into My Kaspersky and when the old licence expired the new one would start.

I've alread installed Kaspersky Standard on my computer and it was very hard to find installer and by that in English language. So I decided to go to my kaspersky portal, Kaspersky standard showed up as an option to download it (due to my installed version), but installer is still region based. I have several web servers I manage, and on one of them there is a self signed SSL cert for the control panel which I log into using the https://IP:port Every single time my browser interacts with this URL, Kaspersky Premium interrupts what I am doing to ask me if I want to proceed. I have added this URL as both an exclusion and as a trusted URL. The warnings persist nonetheless. I find that with some websites like Ebay Kapersky messes up the operation. At least with Ebay and some other websites Kapersky asked whether I wanted the software involved and since Kapersky messed up stuff, I said no. Now Kapersky is getting itself involved with me checking a reservation at an airline.
