Quick update... Icon does seem to be green on many web sites... but not here on this forum.. May be it "off" for this site as it is Kaspersky's and so is trusted... I dont know.. but it seems to be all good.

Thanks all... I can confirm the update to 21.24.8.522 was done manually, over the top of my previous install So I did as @newbie1 suggested and did a complete uninstall of the whole app and reinstalled. The extension then behaved differently to before... When it was not working, when I clicked on it in the list of extensions, it opened a box with a grey shield on the left, and an arrow pointing to (what I now assume to be) a settings screen.. clicking in that box did nothing. After the fresh install, clicking on it in the list of extensions did open a settings screen (as shown in @harlan4096 screen shot above). And once enabled things, the icon turned green as shown in attached screen shot. So I thought I was done and all good. But I rebooted, and now the icon is back to grey, but the settings do open, and seem to be selected, so I assume it is actually working (see second screen shot) Anyway - thanks for everyones help.

Да. Кто бы мог подумать что права на cmd.exe (причем расширенные, а не ограниченные) могут влиять на работу расширения. И возникает вопрос чего ради они изменились и в какой момент, если раньше все работало.

By sending encrypted packets over UDP without the traditional handshake, HTTPS connections become significantly faster. However, in a corporate environment where hundreds of users are browsing multiple websites simultaneously, this can lead to packet mix-ups and errors. Therefore, it seems the problem is not caused by Kaspersky ? Am I correct ?

Привет, На данный момент могут наблюдаться, по не зависящим от нас причинам, сетевые проблемы с доступом к некоторым VPN локациям Kaspersky Secure Connection, а также с доступом в интернет через эти локации. Рекомендуем найти работающие сервера самостоятельно, так как в каждой сети они могут быть разные. Например Грузия у кого то может работать, у кого то нет.

Очень печально. Нас это пока обошло стороной (Ульяновск). Периодически конфиги переставали работать (что WireGuard, что OpenVpn), методом тыка создавал новый, на данный момент Сербия работает больше недели (как выше писал).

Интересно. Уже 24 в релизе и раскатывается. Уточню.

У меня только что 23 версия скачалась, ну по другому твоему запросу. Так что пока не знаю.

Ни WireGuard, ни OpenVpn конфигурации для роутеров теперь не работают :(. Москва
