Three computer internet security will only upload to one computer ?? [Closed]

I bought a 2020 update for three computers and it loaded onto the first one quickly and then I was told it wold easily connect to the second one. Well. well you will never believe the trouble I have had with the second computer and I would never get it onto a third.

I was working extensively on Friday when I was contacted by a Kaspersky helper as I was desperately trying to upload it. He suggested several methods which failed and a technician then came along and worked for sometime with me without any luck whatsoever. Therefore I wondered if it would not load due to the fact that the last license had a few days left but now it has two and still will not upload. It was suggested by the technician that it was because of malware on this particular computer. However, according to Iobit it is running fine.

Well then just what is the answer as it will not go onto my second computer and there will be little hope of it getting on to my third one either!!

Hello @RoSe345Finn

Welcome!

  1. On the computers where the software cannot be installed, do they meet KIS20 system requirements
  2. On the devices with problems, has the original Kaspersky Internet Security software been removed
  3. Has a software compatibility check been run?
  4. May we have a GSI & Windows Logs for the device or devices that KIS cannot be installed on please?

Please post back?

Thank you🙏

Hello Flood,

Thank you for your interest in this problem I am having. It certainly shows up in my devices and I think in the license too. Would I have to uninstall it in the first one and if so how can I manage it so it will show three Windows devices?? It has already worked fine on my first computer.

BEST WISHES and THANK YOU

Hello Flood,

Therefore, Should this software download to all three Windows laptops and if so why is this not happening. The second laptop I thought when the outdated Kaspersky deleted it might just apply to the second one but nothing attempted worked so I temporarily downloaded a free package for now till this is solved if ever???

 Thanking you for your support

Hello @RoSe345Finn

Thank you for replying👌

Yes, the KIS software should be installed on all 3 PCs.

Atm, from what I understand, there is one PC with licensed KIS installed, once PC with free KIS installed and one PC we don’t know the status of🤔

  • On the 2nd PC, with the KIS free version, activate the KIS application with the same activation code as what was used on the first PC and make sure the KIS application is synced/connected with (your) My Kaspersky account.

Please let us know the outcome so we can assist with the 3rd PC?

Thank you🙏

Hi once again FLOOD,

You are the hero!!!  None of the technicians were able to solve the problem but your persistence with this and your excellent patience too were remarkable. I thank you very much indeed for all your attention to this problem which became a very satisfactory ending to this problem that quite frankly should have been answered quickly by technical staff.

However, there were problems with uninstalling and reinstalling the software plus a number of hiccups too, but one can expect that.

Every best wish and I think you should take charge of the entire TECHNICAL PROBLEM UNIT!!!

I would recommend you for the top job in managing this product.

BEST WISHES and      -  Slange- good health.

Hi Flood,

Well once again it is all your knowledge that did the trick and I am afraid all the other advice sank well below the surface and I am so surprised by that as I would have expected their engineers and staff to be well on the ball; however well done and I’ll know who to contact the next time.

EVERY BEST WISH AND DO TRAIN UP SOME OF THE STAFF THERE!!????
