Kaspersky virus removal tool

Hello,

i read the information about the Kaspersky virus removal tool and it helped me with most of my answers. There is only 1 left: i couls sound silly, but i want to know if Kaspersky removal tools is compatible with the normal Kaspersky anti-virus. In the information is written, that it is not intended for a long-term use and that it shoul be removed after being used. Does this mean, that i should remove/disable my Kaspersky anti-virus while using the Kaspersky virus removal?
