Kaspersky tells me that my VPN is limited seeing I am using my Premium subscription on "too many" devices!

Hello all!

Again Kaspersky causes vexation and frustration. NOW the system is telling me that I am using the VPN... on "too many" devices! Yet my Premium sub is valid for 5 devices and I am only using it on 4, including the device where the silly error is popping up. Thus this message is BS. See screenshot - the message is in Dutch.

I have used K. since February 2024 and renewed Feb. this year, which did not go smoothly at all, on the contrary. I have already sent a request for email support. Hopefully staff responds.

Seriously I am so sick and tired of these errors, I never paid some hundred euros to report lame software.

 

Rant over (but continues in the background).

Hello @Berny!

Thank you for your response and the link. I already sent an email. But nevertheless I wanted to post here, to get it off my chest - and also as a reference for other members with the same issue - I searched the forum, but did not come across identical reports.

 

(How do you add a link to someone else's name, so in green? The @ symbol is not working.

The proof that Kaspersky's software is not recognizing my device is the fact that I just got an email, saying "You logged in using a device we have not seen you use before". Which is total nonsense since the subscription was activated on precisely THIS laptop in February last. Lame.

Here we go, phase two of Operation Kaspersky. Sigh.
