Kaspersky keeps blocking Spotify App in Windows 10

hi all,

Anyone can help me please, looks like  Kasp Firewall keeps blocking my spotify app in Windows 10.

I can get around it by pause Kasp protection, however every time protection resume, spotify stop working, it is so annoying.

I tried to adjust setting in Kasp.  but I am stuck.

Hello, @nickplay

I try to install the application and run it without any problem. Maybe we need more information related to the issue. But you can try this settings first.

hi Berny, can't see any spotify being blocked

Please try to see if there is any blocking record in the log of the private browsing amd anti-banner function related to the website? If yes, please let me know.

as soon as I paused KASP. spotify works,  I think I am going to give up on KASP

@Berny, yes done that,  I think I have to uninstall and re install both KASP and spotify, thank you all for your helps, appreciated, will report back later

hello all, just to update you.

Finally I got it works, yes!?
What I gone thru were:
Uninstalled and reinstall Spotify, it did not work
Then I uninstalled and download latest? KASP internet security and re installed. it works straight away without any tweaking on KASP setting.

Also shutdown after full scan is now integratet again in MR3 version 21.3.10.391 available for download.

I've also tried re-installing Spotify to no avail. Kept getting the error code: auth:16 which prevented me from logging in, along with the usual "blocked by firewall" message.

Re-installing Kaspersky Internet Security though is proving to be an even bigger nuisance since the website won't even let me download the installer without buying another license.

I'm gonna attempt a way-around by downloading a trial version and logging into my (subscriber) account from there--

Please try Kaspersky → Settings → Additional → Network → ? Do not use proxy server ?

Also, did you visit the Spotify Community.

I've just reinstalled Kaspersky after downloading the one from the link you've provided, and it fixed my issue, I can use Spotify again!

I installed the updated version of Kaspersky, but the problem is still there.

i am using spotify premium apk version. Is it a bug in spotify?
