While my computer is running, whenever I launch Kaspersky, within 5–10 minutes my screen turns black and then comes back after about 2 seconds. I tested this many times and confirmed that Kaspersky is the cause. The issue happens even if I am idle on the desktop, without running any other applications.

System details:

-Operating System: Windows 10 Home, Version 22H2 (OS Build 19045.6216)
-Kaspersky version: 21.22.7.466(a)
-GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB
-Driver version tested: Latest driver 581.15 WHQL, also tested older versions with DDU clean install = issue persists
-I don't use any other security software
-Kaspersky settings: Default
-Background apps: None (to minimize conflicts, I closed all unnecessary apps)

Here are the troubleshooting steps I've already tried:

-Updated GPU drivers (tested both latest and older versions)
-Used DDU to perform clean driver reinstallations
-Verified Windows is fully updated
-Verified system integrity with:
. "sfc /scannow"
. "DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth"
. "chkdsk C: /f /r"
-Hardware has been tested and confirmed working normally

I'm attaching a screenshot of the Windows Event Viewer section related to the error. Although this part is in Turkish, I've added an English version below. 
Here: "The description for Event ID 153 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. The component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.  
If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.  

The following information was included with the event:  
\Device\0000007f  
Error occurred on GPUID: 100  

The message resource is present but the message is not found in the message table."

@Гокюзу Messages from nvlddmkm with ID 153 also started appearing in the OS log. The black screen only occurred randomly and only lasted a couple of seconds. It started after updating my antivirus to 21.22.7.466(a). A week earlier, I installed a 1070Ti with drivers 581.15, and there were no problems. So far, I've found a solution by installing version 537.58 of the graphics card drivers, after cleaning them with the official NVIDIA CleanupTool utility. I'll continue to monitor the issue and gradually upgrade the drivers. Apparently, this is a conflict between the latest antivirus and the driver versions.
After all, the graphics cards are quite old, and it might not make sense to update the drivers to the latest versions.

@GuchiI also tried installing old drivers, but it didn't solve the problem. I didn't really want to try very outdated drivers either; frankly, accepting Kaspersky like this seemed more logical to me. I am in contact with the authorities about the issue, but no conclusion has been reached yet. Perhaps the only solution might be: "go and buy a new computer"

I'm experiencing the same problem. After starting and logging into Windows 11 24H2, the system freezes for 1-5 seconds, and I find the entry shown in the image above in the event log.

I have Kaspersky Plus version 21.23.6.614 and use it I have the latest Nvidia driver for my 1070.

I've already tried other drivers, but the behavior is the same. The error doesn't occur when I uninstall Kaspersky. I also tested it with Windows 11 25H2, and the problem persists.

I reinstalled Windows 11 24H2, but that didn't fix the issue.

Is there a solution yet?

Create a support request hereProvide the support team with the GSI report and trace files.

How to collect traces in your case: enable tracing, reboot the OS (or shut down/turn on), reproduce the issue, disable tracing and save the collected data.
