I cannot figure out how to set both a time limit & allowed hours (schedule) in KSK

Hello, I think I'm having an issue with the webui & setting up rules. Initially I had set up a 4 hour block of time my child was allowed to use his cell phone. He banked his time during the day, turned off his wifi at night to get around our home filter and started streaming youtube over cellular burning up a bunch of our metered monthly shared data plan. I logged in today to try and set up device rules to make it so he can't use it from 2200-2400 and 0000-0700 on weekdays and 0000-0700 on weekends. But, it seems I had to remove the original 4 hour block of time? Or does it keep both? If I set the dropdown back to the Block by daily usage setting the four hours are still there. I'm sure I'll find out tonight if it works but I was hoping someone could tell me definitively one way or the other. If it does work the way I'm hoping, maybe redo the interface a bit to indicate you can have both a block of time and a schedule? Thank you either way.

Hello ronwilliam79, Welcome! Please tell us:
  1. Parent device: operating system name, version, build?
  2. KSK version?
  3. Child device operating system name, version, build?
  4. KSK version?
  5. Is KSK Free or Licensed? (KSK time schedule can only be set in Licensed)
  6. Are you using the generic age template to manage your son's time as well? IF yes, may I know your son's age please?
I'll try to replicate the issue you're having if you could please let me know the above as it will guide me to match the same criteria? Thank you.

Hello ronwilliam79 & mrcool38 Different operating systems affect the use of KSK, without that information, we limited to providing generic info. Re: Device time, block (or warn) after a set period has expired OR configure a schedule, at expiring > block or warn. If KSK is configured to allow for device use for a set number of hours per day, it's not possible to create a time schedule and vice a versa. If a schedule is set (as in your example ronwilliam79) & you wish to modify the schedule, the change will wipe out the original schedule.
  1. First image, KSK configured for device use for 4 hrs/ Monday, 15 minutes/Sun - it's not possible to break down the total time of device use, in any 24 hr cycle.
  1. Second image: it's not possible to spread/allocate time period in any 24 hrs, device time use can only be configured in blocks.
  2. Each change to time block allocation wipes out any previous configuration for that 24 hr cycle.
Additionally, time can be managed by Age templates, and Apps can be excluded & or granted, outside of both time features. ---- ronwilliam79, re: your son turning off wifi, why don't you block, so your son cannot control wifi? ---- Another "design" feature you may or may not be aware of: KSK can only be managed by one parent profile, that translates to ANY parent responsible for a child/children has to share a MyKaspersky account. So, if, for example, there's a Mum, a Dad, a Step Mum, a Step Dad & a couple of Aunties to boot, everyone shares ONE MyKaspersky account, if per chance, that account has 2FA activated, trying to share the phone receiving the sms or with the authenticator app? (imo) As far as KSK "useability", really cannot comprehend any developer, with children, had anything to do with KSK design & development:zipper_mouth: ---- I'd encourage every parent to contact Kaspersky, I'm not sure what it takes, KS-GooglePlayStore is flooded with comments that reflect many of the issues raised. ---- I'd also encourage every parent to enrol in KSK Beta testing, "maybe" that's an avenue to have the products tested by real people, with real children, all trying to live in the real world:thinking:.
