blocked time frame but can still text

I have my son's device blocked during school but he can still text back if he received an incoming text. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of blocking?

• For android, if KSK is correctly set-up, the only app your child will see are: Phone, Contacts & those you’ve configured as Apps available on blocked device →  see image 1 & 2 below:

1. Read before you create a new topic!
2. Which device (Android or iOS) name & OS version is KSK installed on?
3. Which KSK version is installed? 
4. How is the text messaging application configured?
