Hi, Unfortunately, the provided GSI doesn't contain information that we need. Could you please provide full GSI archive with Event logs. If the error appears with NTFS path, please set UNC path to this folder. If in both cases the error is returned, you should set permission on this folder correctly this command can be executed. After this command processes without an error, you should launch KSC Backup Task using whether NTFS path or UNC Path (i.e. those path by which this command runs without errors) Thank you! -

For clarification: If “it’s” a new Chrome feature it’s out of scope for Kaspersky. The Log non-critical events, is not a scan, it is part of a trouble shooting procedure, suggested to @MDT, to assist them resolve the issue they were trying to resolve. Kaspersky’s documented advice: Scanning files in OneDrive cloud storage In Windows 10 RS3 or later, Kaspersky Internet Security does not scan files in OneDrive cloud storage. If the application detects such files during a scan, it shows a notification stating that the files in cloud storage were not scanned. The following components do not scan files in OneDrive cloud storage: Full Scan Selective Scan Quick Scan Background Scan The report on the operation of Kaspersky Internet Security contains a list of files in OneDrive cloud storage that were skipped during scan. Files downloaded from OneDrive cloud storage to a local computer are scanned by real-time protection components. If a file scan was postponed and the file has been uploaded back to OneDrive cloud storage before the scan is started, this file may be skipped during a scan. When running applications and scripts, the Application Control and System Watcher components download applications from the OneDrive cloud storage to the local computer to scan. Thank you🙏 Flood🐳 -

Weird Inputs in the Kaspersky Password Manager program

I have been using Kaspersky Password Manager for about a year without many issues. However, recently, there is a very strange bug on my program. When I use the number bar above the QWERTY characters on the keyboard, it types some characters instead of the numbers. If I use Shift, it types the capitalized version of said characters, instead of these characters ! @ # $ %. This issue also happen at the start screen when the program asks me to input my master password also, making it very inconvenient (since I have special characters in my password) and insecure for me to unlock my passwords. This only happen in my Kaspersky Password Manager and no other programs. I can type numbers normally with the numpad. Here’s a photo of what it types when I try to type in 1 2 3 4 with the number bar. -

Thanks for reply. Good to know there is an archive. As you may have seen, my topic to which I was referring in our correspondence was the last topic in my archived topics called “Enabling The Secure Keyboard in KIS2019 “ At the risk of sounding like a stuck long playing record it is this issue referred to in that topic that remained the same until a few days ago when suddenly the green icon re-appeared on Safe Money sites I may never need to refer to this archived site again but how do I call it up if needed or is this something that I need to request of Community Admin? If you can answer my question in the preceding paragraph then I feel we can close this topic. I will assume that my K protection extension in Chrome is up to date and requires no further action on my part and that there is no answer on why the green icon has fortunately re-appeared If I were to speculate and that is all I can do, it suggests to me that Chrome did something that has corrected the problem and that is as close to an answer as we can ever get to. Hi, Welcome. Open main window of kaspersky and there is a scan - select which type of scan quick or full… I recommend full. A guide how to run scan is here. -

Hello @mikethebike, Your post seems to be evolving, I’m not clear which issues are current, may I have images of each issue please? Is the (original) issue, that you do not see the tiny keyboard ⌨ in SafeMoney ID & Password fields or in normal Chrome browser fields or something else? Re the “wrong” advice, they frequently give wrong/conflicting and contradictory “qualified” advice. Thank you🙏 -

Hello @wgcuser, Welcome again! If I understand the issue, you switched from Green KIS icon (in the Taskbar) to the Red KIS icon, and now the Red K icon has reverted to Green? If that is the issue, to revert to Red KIS icon, rightclick on the KIS icon (in the Taskbar), select About, with the About popup open, press (on the keyboard) IDDQD, the icon should make the switch. If this is not the problem, please post back and clarify please? Thank you🙏 . -
If it's not running, it's not protecting anything. I think the recommended setting would be to launch the task at program start. Then it will be started and keep running after KSFSW launches.

My Kaspersky is not working correctly. Safe money does not work. Total security says the application is loading. Has for days.

Thank you for your reply. But it is too late. I tried to uninstall it. It would not let me. And after that, it appeared that the Total Security was trying to launch the application as it said it had been for days. It would not allow me any access to internet. Not Chrome or Edge. Not to my email. So I took it off to the computer folks. Something that Kaspersky did all on its own, nothing that I initiated by anything. Although I made it worse by trying to uninstall it. Appreciate you input. I had already put 5 hours into it trying to solve and reading in the forums and for solutions. Time for the pros to try to fix it. -

Un -huh, I’ve seen the main site many times. I already rent Kasper Total. I am NOT looking for more stuff to buy , I am looking for the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. After reading every word in the entirety of the link you provide, still has no “privacy Policy” nor a “Terms of Use”. Those I have managed to find after trudging through dozens of pages, also link to the front sale page. Some pages MAY have the policies, but are buried under the “ACCEPT AND CLOSE” cookie plopper. Shouldn’t we be permitted to read the policies BEFORE we “ACCEPT”? If it helps, the link you provided which I was permitted to extract is “https://www.kaspersky.com/web-privacy-policy”. As soon as I hit that page, the page redirects me to the main page (most all do this) - that being “https://www.kaspersky.ca/” I did manage to find one page that wasn’t covered up with the ACCEPT or leave option, but there was no policy of any kind on that page. ~h~ Thanks for the quick response though. -
Certain sites fail to open in Safe Money [Solved][Closed]

FLOOD: The steps I use to access these sites: I open Chrome, which opens my default tabs. I click New Tab and then click links to each of my bank links (see attached image). This is turn should launch each of the sites in Safe Money. Here is the image of the Safe Money Settings page -
I had an issue to launch KIS 2019. It keeps "Loading the application" like foreeever. And i tried to uninstall the KIS 2019, and got a message Error 1306. Due to this matter, i'm planning to a downgrade my KIS 2019 to KIS 2017 that is more stable. My question is : How to uninstall KIS 2019 due to this error 1306? How to keep my license and save it for my next KIS 2017? Thank you

Flood, Berny Problem solved 😉 , i decided to re-install KSC Free and voila , the comma are now at the right place giving me a number making way more sense, the last scan returned 1,616,919 yeah !!! The scan last 4hr 28 mn !!! Its a lot of files and I am surprised about that since other AV never returned that amount, not even close . But maybe this is why KSC is the best free AV available to home users ? 🤔 I have scheduled a full scan once a week is it too much ? I dont mind to work my hard drive intensively for 4hrs 30 a week but only if it is necessary . I have also scheduled a daily quick scan . anyway , merci beaucoup to you both for your support its really appreciated to have people like you in this community , have a great week !!! -

Thank you FLOOD for a quick answer of course all programs are licensed but I renewed KAV 2019 just a month ago. I was expecting to be on 2020 version but I stayed on 2019. How do I upgrade to KAV 2020? Would KAV20 work with the same license I received only a month ago? BTW, I would have believed you without the attachments -

Now even without interactive protection, "C:\Program Files (x86)\Tajpi" in the exclusions and "Tajpi.exe" in Trusted (Application Control) group I cannot launch the application... -

No, 1 SSD, 1 HD but no Raid feature enabled. The settings of the screenshots were default execpt the XHCI Handoff, i changed it but same error. I also did try to change the Legacy Mode with the result that i had to reset the BIOS to default (cause he didn’t detect my Keyboard anymore). Kind regards bern

Somehow my problem is solved 😂 Well, I didn’t do anything special, it’s just like in 1 normal day the quick tour screen appears indicating that the problem is solved. Also, i noticed that the application is still working despite the error. It still updates according to the taskbar icon and the anti-PUP feature still works
