I have been using KIS for 15+ years. I just recently switched to K Plus for that additional VPN service. VPN is nice, but speed is slow out of states. So don't expect much. I run into many weird problems that I never encounter with KIS before. Slow computer performance, frozen desktop(for a few seconds), slow website loading to name a few. If you are not aiming for that free VPN, I'd suggest you to keep using KIS at least for now. You can still purchase 3yr of KIS on amazon(sold by amazon). I am trying my best to get my KIS experience back but I am stuck on this K Plus for now. I regreted my choice for sure. I feel they added many useless additional feature which is causing many problems.

Hi Schulte, Yes it should not happen, but it is happening. I can not disable the option since I am using ad-block. Is there any other way? Again, it's not happening alot, but it started to happen recently. You mentioned "Safe Money, Private Browsing, Anti-Banner, and URL Advisor", I know Anti-Banner and it's turned off. How do I turn off the rest? Talking about Safe Money(I'm not using password manager), yesterday, I tried to log into my sam's club membership with a different id, chrome pre-filled my id, K plus disabled both fields.(it has a K symbole next to the fields). I have to pause the Kaspersky to enable fields to change id and password. Why is it happening? Honestly, I feel new Kaspersky system throw in many useless features(at least they are useless to me) and causing many more problems that I don't have to deal with using KIS in past 10-15 yrs. It's a really disappointment. ATM, is it possible to exchange my 3yr K Plus to a 3yr KIS？ It still have 1038 days left.

Hi, all of sudden I am having slow webpage loading with "waiting for gc.kis.v2.scr.kaspersky-labs.com" in the lower left corner. I am using chrome. I have my safe-browsing turned off. It's not happening alot, but why am I having this issue? Why is K Plus even checking the page? I don't have kaspersky chrome plugin. What else do I have to turn off?

Since I don't really notice any difference after the plus installation. It's more of a gradual process. And during the installation it says it will uninstall KIS then did the installation. I don't believe it's an "update" per se. I am just wondering is there any list of features additional to KIS so I can try to turn them off?

I downloaded installer and installed Kaspersky Plus. During the installation, KIS was automatically uninstalled as I know. However, plus took over all the settings, rules and quarantines from KIS.

I have been using KIS for more than 10 years, and on this pc for 3 yrs. Not a single problem. My 3 yrs of KIS expired. And I switched to Plus due to additional VPN service. Once I switched to Plus, i don't notice anything right away. But it is slowing down my computer more and more everyday. Now, it gets pretty obvious. e.g. when I open youtube.com in chrome, the webpage stuck for about 2 seconds, then all the content shows. Even more ridiculous, when I open task manager, it also stuck for 2 seconds. And some icons start to stop responding for a few seconds now. I just tried to pause the Kaspersky Plus so I can test if it is the reason. Then that "Pause Protection" gets stuck for 5 seconds. It's like your desktop got frozen you can't click at anything. Once it's paused, everything goes back to normal. This is really getting into my way now. Never had any of this problem with KIS. I already turned off "Safe Browsing", "Mail Anti-Virus","Anti-Phising" and all that crap. It is still the same. So could any one tell me compares to KIS, what are the additional features so I can turn them off to get my KIS experience back. VPN speed is kind of ridiculous. I wish I bought 3 yrs of KIS instead. I see "System Watcher" and "Instrusion Prevention" that might be the problem. Are they really necessary? Thx in advance.
