  1. This works!! I only tested on two of my devices, but I have a strong feeling I will finally be able to have the VPN running on one of the devices in the US. Which is what the task in hand is. Thankyou for the soluton! Although it was so simple and right in front of me all this while and I couldn't see it. 🙈 This took way longer than it should have. I will thank you once again if everything works out the way I'm hoping for!
  2. That I know, but the question is how can I disable it temporarily from my side - just so I could share it with someone else?
  3. Would be great if you can help with screenshots, just like you did with one of my other questions in the forum a while ago. Cos, as you can see in the attachment, the license section you spoke of is nowhere to be found. I checked with the manage subscription page by going into 'my account', but couldn't find anything substantial there too.
  4. Thanks! That's exactly what I was looking for. Though curious to know why it cannot be toggled from Startup apps > Task Manager.
  5. The former! And the setting was nowhere to be found. Up until Harlan, the moderator asked me to look for the same under Performance settings of the software itself. Startup apps under Task Manager did not show Kaspersky, even though the software always booted alongside the computer.
  6. I don't think you quite understand my problem, sir. To remind you about my query, I don't see a way to stop Kaspersky from opening at the startup. I don't know how disabling "fast startup/Windows Fast Boot", which I have already enabled by the way, is going to help me with this. @harlan4096
  7. I like to open my apps manually. If there isn't any critical reason for an app to start on its own, I wish to opt out of the setting. Please help me out.
  8. I didn't download any other program/software, actually. I use the VPN service through the native antivirus program itself, there's no other integration. Please find the attachment for reference.
  9. It came with my annual subscription of Kaspersky Plus. I purchased it from the website itself: https://www.kaspersky.co.in/ Verified through email and the download started. I didn't download any other software.
  10. That's awesome! I've already activated the VPN, can you please instruct me how I can disable it now from my end and make it available for use on the other person's device? @harlan4096
  11. Umm I am sorry I'm still a bit confused. Does it mean the VPN that I purchased and activated in India can be used by the person in the US? (If I disable it from here, that is). Just to be clear, I'm only talking about the VPN service connection here, the antivirus (i.e. the Kaspersky Plus) would still be used only by myself.
