  1. When I try to download Resource Hacker Portable either through the portableapps.com website or through the PortableApps launcher, Kaspersky Standard stops the download and deletes the installer, it says it's a trojan. "UDS:Trojan-Banker.Win32.BestaFera.azte" The creator of the application (not portableapps.com, but the developer of resource hacker) says these are false positives. Is this not possible to figure this problem out, so the anti-virus software won't missdetect?
  2. How am I supposed to upload a file there if the program deletes it?
  3. A little update: tried a different VPN service, on both my main rig and laptop, surprisingly split tunneling doesn't work with that either. I hope this issue has nothing to do with the fact that Kaspersky has its own VPN service...
  4. OMG I got the same issue, PIA Split Tunneling stopeed working since my Kaspersky Standard updated to the latest version. First I thought it's a problem with my PC, but Kaspersky updated on my laptop today and I am having the same problem. Reinstalling the PIA split tunnel filter (on the about page of the PIA application) helped for a while, not any more.
  5. If you have a VPN service, the DNS service is provided from your VPN, so you don't need a separate private DNS service, that's why this message is out of touch.
  6. Anyone knows how to make the app's warning about private DNS disappear? I got a VPN, so I don't need to set up the DNS service built into the OS. It's annoying and misleading.
  7. Yeah, I uploaded it, it was a false positive. When I scanned the installer from context menu a few minutes ago, there was no detection, it only happened when I tried to install the drivers a few days earlier.
  8. It's the second time KTS thinking my AMD Chipset Software installer has a trojan. I can't update my chipset drivers because of this. Get you stuff together! OS: Windows 10 Pro 22H2 KTS: 21.3.10.391 (j) AMD Chipset Installer version: 4.11.15.342, downloaded directly from amd.com
  9. I am trying to upload a file to virustotal, a file that Kaspersky calls a trojan, but it’s not. When virustotal tries to scan it, Kaspersky blocks access to it, so the scan won’t happen.
  10. Okay, thx, I guess I should send them a message about this, PortableApps I mean. Thank you guys, and I’m sorry about my initial tone, I was upset.
  11. It’s the installer of CPU-Z Portable 1.92, downloaded from portableapps.com 02.05.2020 10.00.05;Detected object (file) deleted;D:\Downloads\CPU-ZPortable_1.92_English.paf.exe;
  12. It says Object name: UDS:DangerousObject.Multi.Generic. The report only says that it’s detected, than deleted.
  13. Whenever I try to update CPU-Z Portable on my external hard drive, KTS deletes the installer, saying it has malware in it. I can’t even add it to the exclusions, or stop the security program from deleting the file! What are you doing?
