schedule time

Recommended Posts

Hi There,

We are new to Kaspersky.  We are trying to set up 6 hours continous use and blocked down time between 6.00 - 21.00.  Is this possible to do without the forced breaks?  The breaks get in the way of use at school.  I cannot see break times when I set it up but it blocked the computer and you could see a timetable of break times on the screen when it blocked the screen.

We are just on the trial period at the moment.

Any tips would be appreciated.  Thank you.

Hello @Lauren123garden, '

Welcome!

Based on the information you’ve provided, we’ve configured KSK:

For *6 hours continuous use*,  you don't mention start & end times, so we've configured that the computer can be used from midnight until 06:00 & from 21:00 to midnight, total device use time is 6 hrs, within those hours → image 2

The Blocked down time (you've specified) between 06:00 to 21:00, means the computer will be blocked for 15hours → image 2, is that how you wish KSK to be configured?

Version

Timetable

Daily

Weekly

Please post back if you have any questions?

Thank you🙏

Hi There,

sorry I said that wrong….

We are trying to set up 6 hours uninterrupted use and blocked down time “outside of these hours” 6.00 - 21.00.

I see the timetable that you show in the last picture.  I can’t see that option.  I am using the free trial. It says it’s premium but maybe it lacks features.

Is there a way I can test that feature?

Thank you.

Hello @Lauren123garden

Thank you for posting back & the information!

Premium trial *should* have all features…

  1. Please confirm version of your operating system, refer → How to find the OS version?
  2. Please post a full screen image of the KSK, Device use configuration timetable page → we need to see what you see?

Thank you🙏

Hello @Lauren123garden

Thank you for posting back & the additional information!

  1. Please ask your daughter (or you) to log into her laptop, using her Windows profile, on the Windows Taskbar or hidden icons, (tiny up arrow), select the KSK app icon → image 1, it should open as in image 2, select Schedule for the week:

  • IF you cannot see the KSK icon (as we’ve shown), or if KSK app opens with a different screen to ours, please post images from your daughter’s Windows laptop?

Thank you🙏
