Welcome to the Kaspersky user forum.
So you have a problem with your Kaspersky product? Well we would like to help you. Information we would find helpful (Please list the full version of the product, like Kaspersky 8.0.0.454, or Norton 2005 etc.) Windows version, plus which SP versions, updates, etc. Firewall. Anti-virus. Anti-trojan. Anti-spam. Process/registry control, like Process Guard, RegDefend, System safety monitor, Prevx etc. Backup software. In fact all security related programs would be of interest to us. What is just as important is information on previous installations of the programs just listed, sometimes (in fact in most cases) an uninstall will leave behind some files, this rarely poses a problem, but in some unfortunate cases these files can create a conflict with other programs, thats why this information is very important too. You also have the option to use Kamille from KL france's GetSystemInfo Parser and add the link to the uploaded log to your post, which will convert the quite large amount of mumjumbo (to the nomal user) into something easy to read......at least for us in the forum! 1. Click here to download the GetSystemInfo tool 2. Unzip, run getsysteminfo.exe. Choose where you wish to save the text file, the desktop is the easy choice. 3. Click here to upload your GetSystemInfo log. (Note: It’s not a requirement to register) 4. Now add the link to the log you have just made in your post.[/b][/color] Again, it's the link to the uploaded log we need (from the browser address bar/field), not the raw log which is hard to read/decipher! -------------------- |
