trojan.multi.brosubsc.gen detected (twice)

The above mentioned trojan was twice detected and disinfected. Did a search and it seems to be due to google notifications with malicious ads, only mailonline shows notifications, never had a problem with it. To be safe I disabled the notifications in google chrome.

After that I did a full scan and nothing was detected. Can I be sure that my computer is free of virus ?

Thank you.

Hello @arleetel

Welcome back!

Read & follow: What to do if Kaspersky detects trojan.multi.brosubsc.gen - by Danila T.

Also, when posting a screen-print - please make sure it's full screen & includes the extended details

Thank you?

@Flood and Flood's wife: thank you for your reply, I did not visit any fraudulent website (not that I know of), did everyhting mentioned. I just want to be sure everything is removed and safe.

About the screen-print, sorry if I did it wrong but extended details about "malicious object detected" and "disinfected"are impossible to capture together.

Hello @arleetel

A Kaspersky scan without detection(s) means your system is clean.

Hello @arleetel

You're most welcome!

Thank you for posting back!

IF you've followed the guidance from Danila T. & Kaspersky is no longer reporting any issues, it's safe to assume the system is clean; if you have any concerns, please log the issue with Kaspersky Support: https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts, they can analyze (your) system & give you an answer based on evidence.

Regarding the Report, the columns can be filtered -> rightclick anywhere in the column with headings, then select the columns that show the most relevant information. Also, to capture more information in the Report full screen, the Reports column can be collapsed, by selecting the tiny < & it's always *important* to show the extended details, at the bottom of the Report window, when one event is selected - remember - we need to see what you see.

OR - SAVE the Report, in the top righthand corner, select Save, then upload the Report to cloud & share the link in your topic.

Thank you?
