Has Kaspersky recommended a replacement for Total Security?

I thought Kaspersky isn't going to be able to update any of it's products after the end of the month.

Hello @EdHJr

In  topic US Government Ban on private use of Kaspersky anti-virus, @Danila T. has posted two replies advising about the transition to UltraAV, however on UltraAV's site - the current status is still No action required at this time                                                                                                                              image.thumb.png.3c1cb11335208ebad0cfebaa33424f4c.png

Thank you🙏

Not even sure what to do at this point. I tried to get UltraAV all set up and installed since it never autoinstalled from the KTS app and within an hour of installing and trying to commence normal activity I BSOD 4 times in a 30 minute span. I uninstalled UltraAV and after 2 hours have yet to BSOD even once. I have used Kaspersky for the past ~15-20 years and have never had issues. Had until 2026 on my sub but am looking for suggestions so I can avoid UltraAV.

After Kaspersky cancelled my free subscription in USA, I replaced it with free BitDefender.  But it was using too much resources, esp. (RAM) Memory, as indicated in the Task Manager.  So, I replaced it w/ free Avast and the computer speed, esp. Chrome browser's, returned to that under Kaspersky.  Now my 10-yr old computer w/ 4-core, 8-thread, 3.5 GHz processor, 16 GB of RAM, Windows 10 and cheapest fiber optics Internet works v. fast.  I do not wait for anything after initial start-up, but is runs 24/7 for MagicJack and I restart twice a week at most.  The memory leakage (build-up) is slow unlike under BitDefender.
