OS: macOS 14.5

KSK version: 1.9.0.77

Chrome version: 126.0.6478.127

Tryong to get KSK to work on my child’s new MacBook Air. The website policies only works on Safari, where I am able to block the websites according to the policies. I am also able to get a activity report based on sites accessed via safari.

However, it is not working on chrome where I am able to access any website, and no activity is logged at all.

Can you advise on how to fix this issue.

Thanks.

  1. Can you advise on how to fix this issue.

Hello @IOh

Welcome!

Please read: KSK for Mac, Types of restrictions for your child, Safe Search

Important: If the child searches for something using the Google search engine in Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox, the Safe Search option does not work and the search request is not displayed in the reports on My Kaspersky.

  1. Set Safari as the default search browser or disable HTTP3 (QUIC) protocol in Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox to allow Safe Search to work.
  • In the Chrome URL field - type chrome://flags/  -> in the Experiments window Search field - type QUIC - change Default to Disabled - see image

  • Then - exit Chrome.
  • Exit all other running applications.
  • Shutdown the MacBook Air so it's powered OFF
  • Power ON by pressing the power button, login.
  • Recheck?

IF *monitoring not working on Chrome* is *still* not working, please log a request with Kaspersky Customer Service, https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts  - on the support page, select either Chat or Email, then fill in the template as shown below; please include a *detailed history*. Support may request logs, traces & other data, they will guide you.
