Kid bypasses KSK through screen overlay on Android 14 Samsung OneUI 6.1

First of all I should say that I searched forum about this issue. Found this and this topic. I disallowed "settings" from my account; set necessary permissions and everything suggested at those topics. No avail. I figured out how my kid bypasses ksk but can't find a solution. Main problem is "screen overlay notification" .

Spoiler

Here is the bypassing scenerio :

  1. Kid restarts his phone (Samsung Galaxy A35 Android 14 and OneUI 6.1)
  2. Until KSK kicks in which is a long time, he quickly taps to some disallowed app
  3. Application starts.
  4. KSK kicks in and tries to block app.
  5. Android System notification "Kasperksy Safe Kids displaying over other apps" appears
  6. Kid clicked on this notification and voilà! Kid can disable screen overlay
  7. From now on kid can open disallowed apps without hassle

So, we have a problem with this notification issue. I tried everything to get rid of this notification permanently on my kid's phone unsuccessfully; including suggestions on this reddit topic

What are the options for me? This issue makes KSK totally useless.

Edit: Also some clever kid manages to bypass ksk using accessibility options as described here

Hello @tarquinn

Welcome again!

  • 1. Both Kaspersky topics have nothing to do with the issue (you're) reporting.
  • 2. "screen overlay notification" issue is a *known issue*, dating back -> a long time; please raise a case with Kaspersky Customer Service: https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c/global#contacts, select Email, fill in the template as shown; provide a *detailed-history*   -> see image:

Please share the outcome, with the Community, when it's available?

  • 3. *IMPORTANT*; Settings application should be configured as FORBIDDEN  / Not allowed / Blocked

Note: The Moderator removed the KSK bypass destructions link; IF a kid (yours) or anyone else's is so clever - let them do their own research; the Community is here to provide resources to protect kids, not the opposite.

Thank you🙏
