Why was the transparency effect added in version 21.19 (Red Area)? In version 21.18 there was no such effect and it was perfect. And now I can't find the option to disable the transparency effect, it's very bad for reading menu's, I don't like it and they don't give me the option to disable it, is it really that difficult to make this feature available?

Hello @promo30

Welcome back!

  1. The 'transparency effect' issue pre-exists 21.19
  2. It's been complained about by a multitude of Kaspersky users - including you; our observations so far:
  3. Kaspersky has not shown any indication that they're willing to change it.
  4. They have not explained why they've designed it as they have - other than to say it's 'by design'.
  5. They are aware it impacts people with vision issues.
  6. There is no option to disable the two-tone Design theme - that's part of the problem.
  7. (you) may wish to revert to 21.18 if you were happy with that version.
  8. (ioo) there's no point logging a Feedback / I have a complaint & OR I have a request issue with Kaspersky - they are fully aware of the issue; (ioo) it's offensive to impose on Kaspersky subscribers to waste time logging requests for known issues when Kaspersky does nothing about them.

Thank you🙏

I liked the icon that remained on the Windows taskbar, an animated icon when the machine was scanned or when the database was updated.
These options were very visible and I knew what was happening, so I didn't have to remove the animated icon.

Hello @SystemInfo

Welcome back!

We remember & by coincidence were just reading (your) comments about that issue.

Thank you🙏

Hi @promo30

I agree as the addition of the transparency effect in Kaspersky version 21.19 was likely intended to align with updated UI design trends that emphasize a lighter, more modern look. However, for some users, like yourself, this visual effect can make readability difficult. Unfortunately, there isn't currently an option to disable it directly in the software settings.

It shouldn't be technically challenging for Kaspersky to add a toggle to disable the effect, and user feedback on readability concerns may help prompt this adjustment. You might consider reaching out to Kaspersky's support team to submit a feature request. Alternatively, reverting to version 21.18 is an option, although this could affect compatibility and security updates.

Thank you
