 i cannot activate the kaspersky extention of Firefox no matter what i did

Additional resources: 

  1. Is FireFox, basic, standard FF, current version 141.0.3 - no FF derivatives? 
  2. Which Kaspersky Plus *version* is installed, on Windows Taskbar, *Hidden icons*, rightclick the Kaspersky icon, select About
  3. Have (you) tried installing / activating https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/kaspersky-protection-2021/ *without* Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.26100.197.0?
  4. IF 'no', please do, remove the FEP, reboot, retry installing / activating the FF extension?
  5. IF the extension works without FEP, (you) can reinstall FEP, if the extension continues to work -> good, if the extension stops working, please read & follow: What to do if you experience issues -> submit a request to Kaspersky Customer Service.

Please share the outcome with the Community when it's available?

  • All requested info and screenshots are attached.

  • Firefox and Kaspersky version info are in the screenshots.

  • I ran dism /online /get-packages (Admin) and can’t find any FEP package, yet Settings shows something that looks like FEP while winver does not. The Kaspersky extension in Firefox is shown active in the screenshots.

Thank you for the information!

  1. Create a System Restore Point.
  2. In Windows Update History - is FEP showing - IF 'yes', go to the Installed Updates & uninstall, then a full reboot, power OFF/ON, login & How to install the extension in Mozilla Firefox, then How to enable the extension in Mozilla Firefox
  3. Has the Kaspersky extension been removed from Firefox, exit Firefox browser, followed by a full power OFF of the computer, followed by power ON by pressing the power button, login, then: How to install the extension in Mozilla Firefox, then How to enable the extension in Mozilla Firefox?
  4. IF the issue persists please read & follow: What to do if you experience issues -> submit a request to Kaspersky Customer Service.

Please share the outcome with the Community when it's available?

When you open the 'Developer Tools'  in Firefox with the F12 key , do you get an error message when attempting to install the FF extension  ?

nothing showes in update history there is a some security updates and other updates nothing about FEP

@noone You are welcome.

  1. Open Firefox
  2. Click on the F12 function key on the top row of your keyboard
  3. The 'Developer Tool' half opens at the bottom inside Firefox
  4. Install the Kaspersky Firefox extension
  5. Check if any "Error" shows up in the  'Developer Tool' ?
