Kaspersky block Discogs collections

I've got Kaspersky Premium. I honestly got lowkey ripped off and made to pay almost double its costs since the website told me that the final price was a certain number with taxes included, and then I got taxed to oblivion once I paid for the subscription.

Having paid so much for a year-long protection, I've honestly come to find it a bit annoying how the AV has, at various points, been too intrusive when navigating the internet. Before, I used to have issues logging into Crunchyroll due to Kaspersky blocking a certain script and leading to an endless loop, and while that was fixed, now I've found a new issue that is not more than a few weeks old:

I used Discogs, a website which works as a marketplace for music albums and releases. They have a collection system which, through a script, lets you add releases to a personal list. Kaspersky is currently returning a 500 error with the error message "toString() is not a value" whenever I try to access these collections, and also blocks all the other collection-related scripts sitewide. I had to deactivate the "Inject script into web traffic to interact with web pages" under "Traffic processing" for the site to work properly again, but that naturally also deactivates it entirely, since I cannot choose to deactivate it in only one site.

Others have faced the same issue: https://www.discogs.com/forum/thread/1093890?page=1&message_id=11380782#11380782

Hello @Muxxer

Welcome back!

  1. Use another browser!
  2. Leave  Inject script into web traffic to interact with web pages (1) in the image below - *checked* - do not disable this option
  3. In Network settings, Configure trusted addresses, add discog as a trusted address.
  4. In the Kaspersky Protection extension, for Private browsing, select Allow data collection on this website.
  5. In the Kaspersky Protection extension, for Anti-banner, select Allow on this website.
  6. IF the issue persists, log a request with Kaspersky Customer Service, https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts  - on the support page, select either Chat or Email, then fill in the template as shown; collect & submit these with the request: How to collect console and HAR logs
  7. *Also* -> IF using Chat - ask the operator to email (you) a copy of the chat transcript *before* ending the chat - otherwise (you'll) have no record of the chat*
