Hello, Since one week I get a lot of "invalid certificate" warning about well known websites; e.g., connect.facebook.net (see attached screenshot). I'm using Kasperski Free (currently 21.20.8.505) since a long time without issue in Windows 10 Pro FR (22h2 build 19045.5608). How could I solve this reccurrent issue?

Welcome to Kaspersky Community.

Hum 🤔 that link looks very suspicious to me...

Not using https, its certificate it's expired, look at the pic on the left, that URL looks very suspicious, and the right URL to join FaceBook is:

https://www.facebook.com/

Yes, but it doesn't just happen on this link. I didn't note the different URLs, but it always happens on side URLs like a page may call under the hood (here, maybe connecting to an API); what I mean is that I didn't access this connect.facebook.net  URL, but one of a page I visited did it apparently.

Well, I'll restart my PC, clean the cache and cookies, then launch a full Kaspersky scan... And if this kind of warning comes again, I'll notice the concerned URLs...

Check browser add-ons / extensions, if any suspicious, do a browser config reset.

 connect.facebook.net

According https://www.ssllabs.com

Certificate : " Valid until : Wed, 02 Apr 2025 23:59:59 UTC (expires in 7 days, 13 hours) " 🤔

My PC was ON since some weeks, so I closed everything (even killed any non-vital tasks through the task manager), cleaned up what possible from CCleaner (registry, caches, cookies), updated tenth of apps (including browsers), then rebooted... And now, a full Kaspersky scan is in progress. No warning anymore until now 🤞

However, thanks to both of you. Good idea, @harlan4096 (I have effectively a lot of extensions and I'll think to disable them one by one if any warning comes back), and noted @Berny (so, the one I saw was a fake or corrupted one, maybe).
