I can't remove a subscription from Kaspersky.com

I did try searching but found nothing that works sorry. Not sure where to post this as there is overlap again sorry.

I started a trial of Kaspersky Plus yesterday and liked it so much I when to buy it and found Kaspersky Premium for only a few dollars more. Since Premium is the big brother to plus I went for it. The download link given seems to install the old version of Total Security as it misses several features from plus such as the network monitor etc. Not sure what to think about that. Wish I has saved a 5 bucks and stuck with Plus. I did uninstall Plus including the VPN and here is where it sits. I purchased from Amazon, link

Now the real problem. The VPN software will only use the trial license not the one for Total security no matter what I do. I figure if I get rid of the trial license I can fix the problem. Trouble is all info points to it being possible. Support site says "Select Cancel Subscription and follow the steps to confirm cancellation". Well there is no cancel that I can find.

At the moment Kaspersky is not installed so I cant provide the version info. If needed I can reinstall. The install file version is 21.3.10.391 if it helps

Welcome!

  • Your post is fine, do not worry! 
  1. Kaspersky Support are incorrect, the *Cancel Subscription* option is *only* available - IF the subscription was purchased via (your) my Kaspersky account & OR a Kaspersky website. 
  2. The Kaspersky Premium Total Security download link *should* be in (your) Amazon account. Check, on Amazon - it says: You can access this item in Your Software Library - IF you cannot find it, contact the Amazon merchant & contact Kaspersky Support *again* - make sure you have all the transaction details when you communicate with Kaspersky Support.  
  3. Kaspersky Premium Total Security is different to the Kaspersky Total Security (KTS) *old* original software.
  4. 21.3.10.391 is for the *old* Kaspersky Total Security (KTS) original software. Old KTS only comes  with Free/Standard VPN, not Unlimited - you need to get rid of anything to do with *old* KTS & Kaspersky Plus Trial - Kaspersky Support need to help you with this

Thank you for the info, I got in contact with Amazon and I think they are going to refund my purchase even though it's non refundable. We will see. I think I got them to understand that the product they sold me is not the product they delivered aka wrong activation code. If and when they do I will try to contact Kaspersky support and have them clean up my account. I'm not sure what I will do there after. I did much research to pick what I would consider the best product for me. It has the best protection while having lower overhead than any other product with similar protection. It was a no brainer IMO.
