Devices Automatically moving from Different groups to Managed Groups

I am facing a issue in my KSC , I have 8 groups under Managed Device section, there are many devices in these 8 groups , but these devices are coming to Managed Device Group without any reason , I kept sending back to their specific groups , then again they come backs to Managed device section,. what should i do.

Yeah , I know the rules to direct assignment of devices from Unassigned section to Managed devices , I am facing issue like " There are multiple groups in my KSC ,there are many devices in these groups which are assigned manually by drag and drop, but suddenly they are going back to Managed device section coming out of their specific groups.

1. Are these devices part of a Windows Server cluster?

2. If the agent installation date is new on the devices, it is possible that the move occurs when the agent is installed by stand-alone installation package with option "Move unassigned devices to this group": https://support.kaspersky.com/ksc/15.1/182663

Hi,

I have simmiliar problem with one KSC. No moving rules, no installation tasks, every two days cca. 20 endpoints are in unassigned devices.

I move them back in their respective managed groups and after 2-3 days it happens again.

This started happening after KSC upgrade to 15.1, KES 12.7 , KSCNA 15.1.0.2

please checkif there are any moving rules configured and if yes, that the condition will reflect the correct movement conditions. If no Moving rule is in use go to the Properties of the Managed Device Group under Devices and check the settings when clients will be moved from group after period of time. If inherited from Managed Device Group all other groups will get the same setting from parent. If not in use configure each group device setting individually.

Also please check if there are any Automatic Installation settings done and if this Installation task will move the device automatically to a specified group (default (Unassigned Group).

Have you considered the possibility that something is happening during the installation or reinstallation of the Network Agent on these devices?

 Well im sure something happened, but its strange that i can see endpoints, move them to respective managed groups, everything works fine for day or two and then i finf them in unassigned devices.

After i find them there, i move them where they should be, everything works fine again for day or two and than again.
