I am using Kaspersky Standard Edition 21.19.7.527(b), which was upgraded from version 21.18 by installing the 21.19 package. Recent updates have caused the automatic update task to stop. By reviewing recent logs, for example: the update started at 9:46 AM 12/9/2024 and ended at 9:46 AM on the same day. The log records that the task has stopped. Upgrade server: https://s14.udp.kaspersky.com

Hello, Thank you @Berny. I tried specifying the address manually, but after saving the settings, the manual update still defaults to the default configuration. I found that the issue also exists in  21.18(a) by checking the logs.

Hello @Pandamao

Thank you for posting back!

  1. Does (your) Update settings *now* show the *new* update source - in the Update settings window, similar to the *last* image below?
  2. *After* selecting the URL it's necessary to select OK, select Save, select Confirm
  3. Does it help if the *new* update source is moved to the top of the list?

Thank you @Flood and Flood's wifeI need to put the custom URL at the top, then go back to the update settings and click "Save" to make it take effect. Thank you very much.

Hello @Pandamao

You're most welcome!

  1. "I need to put the custom URL at the top, then go back to the update settings and click "Save" to make it take effect."

Correct!!👍

In the first instance:

  • Paste the *new* update server URL into the path.
  • Click on: Select.
  • Click on: OK.
  • Click on: Save.
  • Click on Confirm.

IF (your) update source is *still* the *original* update default source, *manually* move the *new* update source to the top of the list * then:

  • Click on: OK.
  • Click on: Save.
  • Click on Confirm.

*AT the end* it's important that the Update settings window shows the *new* update server, not the words: Kaspersky update servers.

Thank you🙏
