C:\Users\DELL\Documents\My Pictures Object Not Processed-Access Denied

Hello,

During today's full scan of my laptop (it's a Dell Inspiron with Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1065G7 CPU @ 1.30GHz and runs on Windows 10 Pro) using Kaspersky Total Security, I noticed that the object "C:\Users\DELL\Documents\My Pictures" could not be processed as the access was denied. I got the following report for this:

Event: Object not processed
User: DELL\DELL
User type: Active user
Component: Virus Scan
Result: Not processed
Result description: Not processed
Object type: File
Object path: C:\Users\DELL\Documents\My Pictures
Reason: Access denied

Could you please help me how to solve this issue and overcome the access denial?

  1. Read before you create a new topic! by Danila T.
  2. Was the object in use by another process, at the time of the scan?
  3. Does the "Object not processed" message also appear during a manual scan via context menu of the folder?
  4. Log a case with Kaspersky Support, select either Chat or Email, fill in Application malfunction, Other template; Support may request logs, traces & other data, they will guide you. 
  • When it's available, please share the outcome with the Community?
