  2. Hi Potzki You can add whitelist the site by adding it to the exclusions of the encrypted connection scanning of kaspersky. To do so: Open Kaspersky > Settings > Additional Go to Network Scroll down and look for Manage Exclusions Click on "Add" then enter: www.live.com.au Click on "Add" again to save the settings. Once done, re-launch your Outlook and check if the issue is still there. Let us know of the result. Regards,

Posting this to let everyone know that EAC is now the problem and that this error is happening with other antivirusus and that their anticheat is causing their games to not load for many people period. I am one of these people and wish that there was a way to completely destroy all traces of EAC in my system besides hard deleting them but i cant so i will be stuck with this issue till they fix it. (uninstalled Kas. and tried to launch several games so this is how i know EAC is the issue + some redditors I will make a new edit when this is resolved)

    Hello @lilium66, Thank you so much👏 , what’s also very interesting is the notification, to Windows Notification Center. Kaspersky documentation is very clear, it refers to OneDrive Cloud only, not GoogleDrive or any other Cloud storage: Scanning files in OneDrive cloud storage In Windows 10 RS3 or later, Kaspersky Security Cloud does not scan files in OneDrive cloud storage. If Kaspersky Security Cloud detects such files during a scan, it shows a notification stating that the files in cloud storage were not scanned. The following components do not scan files in OneDrive cloud storage: Full Scan Selective Scan Quick Scan Background Scan The report on the operation of Kaspersky Security Cloud contains a list of files in OneDrive cloud storage that were skipped during scan. Files downloaded from OneDrive cloud storage to a local computer are scanned by real-time protection components. If a file scan was postponed and the file has been uploaded back to OneDrive cloud storage before the scan is started, this file may be skipped during a scan. When running applications and scripts, the Application Control and System Watcher components download applications from the OneDrive cloud storage to the local computer to scan. Please raise the issue with Kaspersky Technical Support, they’re the ones who’ll be able to provide a definitive answer. They will ask for traces, thankfully the issue is able to be replicated, otherwise, it would be a PIA for you😉 Please do share their advice when it’s available? Thank you🙏 Flood🐳

On the other hand, manually importing Kaspersky certficates, is only necessary under certain circumstances. Re: "theoretically, such a root certificate gives the owner the ability of MITM attack", are you suggesting Kaspersky would launch a MITM attack? :thinking:
  13. You can create a policy, as you said. Or you can try to upgrade you KES by inplace update. You can create installation pack of new KES and launch setup. It should install it succesfully. And with ne wversion and new policy you can change your password also. I have already tried this and installation fails with a fatal error. It does install over the current version without uninstalling it and because there is a password set it will not uninstall without password.

"Settings --> Additional --> Self-defense --> confirm uncheck "Enable Self-Defense"". Setting --> General section --> uncheck "Launch Kaspersky Internet Security at computer startup (recommended)" reboot pc Go to C:\ProgramData\Kaspersky Lab\AVP20.0\Bases\Cache folder. Delete all files and folders. Let me konw the result. Regards.

Подведу итоги, для устранения ошибки можно попробовать: Полностью удалить штатными средствами KES с хоста, перезапустить устройство, заново попробовать установить KES (помогло мне) Если не получается штатными средствами: Удалить через актуальный kavremover (https://support.kaspersky.ru/common/uninstall/1464),ОБЯЗАТЕЛЬНО перезагрузить ПК. После включения ПК, запустить установку (учёткой с админскими правами); (помогло 06aaa) Воспользоваться информацией со старого форума а именно - установить драйвера отдельно, инструкция ниже и ссылка ниже Инструкция: Please install klhk.sys_x64 driver manually. To do so please right-click at inf file and select install from context menu. After the driver is installed please launch installation once again. Please inform u about result. Thank you!   18. I have problem with 10 and 1903 update and KES 10.5 Agent - working, KES - dont. Update from KSC - fails. In my case: i uninstall KES by windows programs and features, reboot. Then launch task to install from KSC and KES 11 installed seccesfully. Try to full delete KES from your device, save agent.
  19. Hi Flood, Thanks for the super quick response. You are absolutely right - when I checked Safe Money again, all the sites had appeared. I’m sure they weren’t there yesterday after the import, but the machine has been restarted since then. The video threw me at first - no sound, and it seemed to show that nothing wasbeing restored or imported, until I twigged that there was nothing to export, either! Thanks again for your help. DeWrek
  20. Hi, Nikolay It’s done the upgrade, keyboard it’s come back to working but traking pad stop work. If i plug in a USB Mouse, it’s showing the pointer mouse. Thank you!
  21. Hi Flood, Sorry about delayed response! It is the crazy season! I hope you had a great Christmas! Thank you for you assistance. Things are back to normal now and I have the 30.147.100.0, extension with easy access to the on screen keyboard. How KPE 2016 got installed: I deleted the new KPE version before upgrading, when it installed automatically, completely out of the blue which left me with 2 KPE’s! If I had deleted the old version I would have been ok! After the upgrade to 2020 I did not have an extension at all so I searched the google webstore, but nothing legit came up, so I searched Kaspersky support. I found the link to the 2016 extension, not realizing it was the wrong one. When I realized it was wrong I continued searching for the most recent extension but could not find it. So I ended up here!   23. The eagle has landed, the J version is now installed 😄 A quick view seems to confirm that KSM is now working indeed under Edge-Chromium, I will do some further checks later. The J version has introduced a bug on some sites, but that can be "solved” temporarily by a Shift + F5, as you're aware of. Regards, JW
  24. Hello @FLOOD In fact, Firefox is my main browser and I occasionally open Edge Dev. for checking my company’s email(not supported by Firefox). This morning, when I opened Edge Dev., I found Kaspersky Protection extension was installed in my Edge Dev. . However, I suddenly found that I could not access my Gmail and therefore I post my question on this site. Many thanks for your quick response and I hope the problem will be solved quickly in the future.

Hello @vega109, Thank you for your quick response☺ & the additional information👏 By my count there’s 5 people who’ve reported the issue here in the Community, if each person is on patch(j), (imo) it’s important to contact Kaspersky Technical Support, ask them to assist? They’ll need all the info you’ve provided here, the GSI & Windows Logs and please tell them the issue is resolved if EdgeChromium is run as InPrivate, ask them why that would be? After submitting the case, you’ll receive an automated email with an INC+12digits reference number, then, normally, within 5 business days, a Kaspersky Technical Support human🕵 will communicate with you, also by email, you may continue to engage with the Kaspersky Technical Team via email or by updating the INC in your MyKaspersky account. Please keep us posted with any updates they provide please? Thank you🙏 Flood🐳
