  1. Quick update : I contacted tech supp… @harlan4096 You have 2021 beta version i installed also on VM newest build 21.0.41.1458 and i dont see there also nothing about VT.
  2. Hi, Thanks for the help. Just a quick additional question. Did you try to search for http: in the developer? Click CTRL and the F key on your keyboard and fill in http: and hit enter and keep hitting it untill you see the links I mention. Because only then do I see those weird links. If I don’t search specifically for http: I see what you see (see sceenshot). Regards, Martin
  3. Are you sure? It didn’t work for me. Did you test it by restarting your browser and wait at least 1 min? On my system, it pops up everytime when I launch Chrome or Firefox. I disabled all notifications in the settings menu and clicked the `disable this notification` button on the pop-up message itself but it still keeps popping up.
  4. Restart your computer and only Kaspersky Anti-Virus should remain active. To completely unload Kaspersky Anti-Virus, you need to right-click on the Kaspersky icon in the tray and select "Exit". But, as you have already noticed, this will launch the Windows Defender.
  5. I was on https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/kaspersky-protection-2020/ then I scrolled to “about this extension” and clicked that link “About this extension Enhance your Internet protection with an extension from Kaspersky Kaspersky Protection extension is intended to be used together with the following Kaspersky applications: Kaspersky Anti-Virus 2020, Kaspersky Internet Security 2020, Kaspersky Total Security 2020, Kaspersky Small Office Security 7, Kaspersky Security Cloud 3, Kaspersky Free 2020. Go to https://products.s.kaspersky-labs.com/ and install the application. We empower your browsing experience in the following areas: Privacy Some websites like to collect information about your behavior and the data you share. 6. Hi, Thanks for the reply. I will first list what you asked for 🙂. Windows 10 64 bit version 1909 Kaspersky Total Security 20.0.14.1085 (h) Chrome version 80.0.3987.106 KTS extension 30.255.180.0 Firefox 73.0 KTS extension 30.255.173.0 I have also Opera, Edge and IE installed and I don’t see the issue on those as they don’t have the extension. I did what you said and followed all the steps. I looked in Chrome at https://community.kaspersky.com/ and din’t see this issue. However when I look at other sites I do see it. I added a screenshot from some random site www.fietsenwinkel.nl as well where you can see it. Why would I see it on a normal website but not on the kaspersky comminity site is another mysterie. I tried an international site as well https://www.mercedes-benz.com/en/. Still the same issue. Open Chrome with the extension installed. Open the the Developer tool. Click CTRL and the F key on your keyboard and fill in http: and hit enter and keep hitting it untill you see the links I mention. At least I hope it’s not just me :-)
  7. Now that I have the on board keyboard, I can access system restore. There is an automatic restore point I can go back to from February 5th. Is it possible this can help? Jeff
  8. Also, I have discovered the on screen keyboard and am able to type that way, so I do have access to a keyboard now in this way.
  9. I was able to boot to this screen using my mouse: settings > security > reboot now, then troubleshoot > advanced options. I don't know yet if I have keyboard access, let's see. What would you have me do next?
  10. @jdods My intention was to propose you to proceed with the KavRemover (after backup of your personal data) in order to cleanup the suspended installation , but your keyboard problem makes this suggestion impossible because with this tool you have to enter a security code. ? Are you able to enter into Safe Mode ? At this point i think your best option is K-Lab Technical Support https://center.kaspersky.com
  11. I bought a new wired keyboard / mouse combo, replacing the previous wireless combo. Same problem with the keyboard, the new mouse works as did the previous. I am completely stuck. Your assistance on steps to move forward woukd be appreciated. Thank you. Jeff
  12. The keyboard issue: in the task manager, the wireless keyboard has been replaced by "wireless keyboard filter device". The status reads "a driver (service) for this device has been disabled. An alternate driver may be providing this functionality. (Code 33)" Did some research and the code 32 might be referring to a registry issue. Could the registry have been messed up in the steps I have gone through above? Thank you. Jeff
  13. 2 posts up you can see that my attempt to uninstall Kaspersky following your directions failed. I went on while I awaited your next instructions. I tried installing a XML file converter (to Excell) called Altova and got the error in the next post saying that an install of Kaspersky has been suspended. I said I did not want to undo those changes. After capturing the image, and posting it to this thread, I learn that I cannot use the keyboard to type or use any other keys like ctrl or the windows flag, nothing. Rebooting does not help. This has become a serious matter for me. I'm typing logged in from my Android. My PC is effectively dead. I need serious help. Thank you. Jeff
  14. Somehow my problem is solved 😂 Well, I didn’t do anything special, it’s just like in 1 normal day the quick tour screen appears indicating that the problem is solved. Also, i noticed that the application is still working despite the error. It still updates according to the taskbar icon and the anti-PUP feature still works
  15. Quick question. Would multiple OS on one PC counted as a single device? For example, for bootcamp users on a mac based computer.
  16. No but I found the fix, do you wanna know how I Fixed it? IT seems really dumb Launch into safe mode (with networking) Install the kaspersky protection chrome extension I don’t know why, but that fixed it, it was my last solution cause i realised i had an extension missing but thats so stupid that your internet wont work at all on any browser or discord unless you have the extension.

    Not blocking

Hello @Naveed05, You’re very welcome! Thank you for replying and the information👌 1 So I can check each app, may I know the name of the Music Player please? 2 May I have images of Pie Storage, that includes: System memory, Used space, Miscellaneous files, Available space ? (see my images): 3 When you say, “I had blocked the app in KSK many times”, does that mean you’ve manually blocked SwiftKey keyboard application? 4 May I have an image of SwiftKey keyboard application as shown in the MyKaspersky account (see my image): 5 For my understanding, if you do not wish your child to use SwiftKey keyboard, why not uninstall SwiftKey keyboard? 6 Please clarify/provide more detail please regarding “even the default for new app is blocked “ , atm I’m not clear what this means? 7 May I have an image of the 4 Notifications please: 8 Please 📎 attach📎 the KSK 7 day Report? Please let me know? Thank you🙏 Flood🐳

    Not blocking

Hello @Naveed05 Welcome! 🅰 Regarding the "not blocking" issue: May I have the names of other apps KSK is not blocking? Is KSK not blocking automatically, according to generic KSK rules or not blocking according to the rules you’ve specifically configured? Did KSK previously block SwiftKey keyboard? Can you pinpoint a date (approximate) when KSK stopped blocking apps? 🅱 Regarding Chrome crashing: KSK version? Chrome version? Has root or developer access been granted to the Pie? Please post a screen image of Pie Storage, that includes: System memory, Used space, Miscellaneous files, Available space? Have you cleared Chrome Site Storage? Have you refreshed/reinstalled Chrome? Have you uninstalled & reinstalled KSK, with a full device power off, between each step? Please let me know? Thank you🙏 Flood🐳

  22. After about 12 hours Kaspersky Security Center MMC Error.cmd appeared in HIP settings search menu and I was able to add it to trusted group. It should launch Kaspersky Security Center 11.msc. Then I couldn't launch Kaspersky Security Center 11.msc even directly or find it in HIP settings search menu. I sew the same error message as with Kaspersky Security Center MMC Error.cmd. And again I couldn't find Kaspersky Security Center 11.msc in HIP settings search menu but could find it on clients workstation in HIP Untrusted group and add it to Trusted group after disabling policy. Problem was solved adding additional Inventory task. It should be cleared-out for users that this task is needed HIP functionality to fully work.
  23. Hello @Alex586, Welcome! Does the keyboard “tooltip” happen irrespective of browser used? Is the keyboard “tooltip” generated by KTS? Is any Password Manager software in use? Is KTS SafeMoney browser used when the keyboard “tooltip” happens? May I have an image please? Have any configuration changes been made to Secure Data Input Settings: Please let me know? Thank you🙏 Flood🐳
  24. Hello, When I put a password on an website, a tooltip about the keyboard is displayed. Is it possible to disable the popup without disable the keyboard protection ? I have KTS 2020. Thank you :)
  25. Hi Flood Thanks for your quick reply. Win10 version & build? (select Windows 🔎 Search, type winver press enter, the popup will display the information) 1909 (Build 18363.628) KSK license & version ? Premium, 1.0.5.1360 Has a KSK/system requirements check been done? yes Is “after entering the password & pressing enter, the screen goes black” a new problem or has always existed? It is a new problem. It doesn’t happen with each login, only about each 2nd. It does not happen if I de-install KSK. It re-appears if I re-install KSK. Have you deleted & recreated your son’s Windows profile & rechecked? yes. If a “dummy” child profile is created, at login, after entering the password & pressing enter, does the screen black ? Not tested. What would be the difference between a real profile and a dummy profile? Has KSK been uninstalled & reinstalled? yes. Any idea? best Slooti
