Hello @wgcuser, Welcome again! If I understand the issue, you switched from Green KIS icon (in the Taskbar) to the Red KIS icon, and now the Red K icon has reverted to Green? If that is the issue, to revert to Red KIS icon, rightclick on the KIS icon (in the Taskbar), select About, with the About popup open, press (on the keyboard) IDDQD, the icon should make the switch. If this is not the problem, please post back and clarify please? Thank you🙏 . -
Just a thought/idea on how to make KPM a little more user friendly and easier to use. Giving the ability for users add/choose icons and or colours for folders. This would allow very quick reference just by looking rather than reading the folder name. Having the folders display in all the individual categories like: “websites, bank cards, ect” rather then only show in the “all entries” Tile view: On a 15.6” laptop screen, you are only able to fit “two rows for a maximum of 10 tiles”, please make the “size of the folder icons smaller” so a user is able to see a whole lot more. Also applies to “non folder entries” List View: Why when opening this view do all the entries always expand!? Giving the user the ability to “collapse all” or “stay collapsed” would be helpful to combat this. That's pretty much it. Keep up the great work Kaspersky Team!

Thank you for your reply I should have phrased my question a bit better, what i was after were to two fields to fill in, one being A home address and another being A postal address. A lot of government sites in Australia require this. Mabye i should have posted in request section. but thank you for quick response

About Using Older Free KasperskyAntivirsus Versions?

Dear Kaspersky Free Antivirus Support Team, How’s things?, I just want to know is using an old version of your free antivirus safe to do so?, as I am on 20. 0.14.1085 (I) 2019 version, after finding it to be what I wanted in a free antivirus with easy to configure settings and with no sign of flaws. Both quick and full scans when tested separately was working well or should I use the 19.0.0.1088 of your free antivirus version instead. -

It's not suggested from the Kaspersky support but in this case Kavremover can help. I suggest to perform manual uninstallation of NetAgent, launch Kavremover, restart the PC and install again NA and KES. https://support.kaspersky.com/common/uninstall/1464 -

Every web site and software control icon and its title must unambiguously signify the associated action. Your software must not advertise or promote third-party software or web resources, unless they are used as a launch platform (like Steam or Origin). Software code or configuration files (including downloads) must not contain malicious functions or resources hosting Potentially Unwanted Programs (PuP). Digital signature (if Company has one) must not be used by other vendors and/or compromised (there must be no registered cases of the signature having been used by malware or PuP). You can also upload your .exe to VirusDesk and report it as false/positive. I also did try to change the Legacy Mode with the result that i had to reset the BIOS to default (cause he didn’t detect my Keyboard anymore). Kind regards bern

Hello Schulte. Thanks for the quick reply yesterday. Searched for this info but couldn´t find it. Maybe used the wrong words/terms. Unfortunately I activated the license before the Kaspersky AntiVirus countdown on my desktop fully expired so I am wasting days. :( Learned my lesson :) -

Hi, Pease use kavremover utility to crean KES remains from previous installation, download new installation package (https://support.kaspersky.com/kes11#downloads) and launch installation once again. If the installation fail again please provide us with GSI log from that host. -

I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled KSK as recently as earlier today. I’ve also made sure I’ve updated to the latest version of KSK (1.0.5.6123 (e)). I’ve attached the GSI & Windows Logs file to this post.Thanks. -

Hi Flood, I cannot find the mail I got from Kaspersky Support any more. I switched from Windows Live Mail to Thunderbird, exported the mails but somehow some of them got lost. Right it works in IE, I never use that browser and it does not work in Edge. Firefox is certainly not my favourite brower, Stubborn he ...... It worked before in Chrome and the ticket from support is still open since end May but they remain silent. The only workaround is still to use the on screen keyboard. -

Hi FLOOD, In one of your replies above you have added an image of an input ex. of usename and password with "secure input" enabled in chrome. Was that with KIS 2020?And the latest version of chrome? You talked about a tiny keyboard icon that popup, but did the secure input icon also popup? I don't understand it should work at your site because kaspersky support told me that the cause it does not work is at technical base namely the development of chrome does not allow it anymore. -

Hello Wibie Furthering Berny’s comment. Defender would automatically be switched off when Security Cloud Free is running. Your real-time protection (including ransomware protection) would solely come from Security Cloud. You can if you wish let Defender run its own periodic scans. In Security Cloud I would suggest setting up a daily Quick Scan and a weekly or monthly full scan. FYI ransomware protection is an area where Kaspersky Security Cloud is highly respected and unlike Windows Defender does not require you to set up ‘Protected’ folders. No adjustments are required as ransomware protection, is active by default and why the separate RP tool is not required and shouldn’t be installed. -

Hello SupR-Pingou, Thank you. The Lab may take a few days to get back to you. As the issue started when KIS19 was installed we know it's not due to KIS20, we also know KIS20 hasn't fixed it. (a) If you haven't done so already, please set up Time Machine. (b) Please close all apps (not KIS), before doing the following: Select: Go To Folder in Finder’s Go menu (or select keyboard shortcut Shift (⇧)—Command (⌘)—G ) paste the full path ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.itunes in the field, select Go button. Hold the Command (⌘) key while selecting the fsCachedData folder and SubscriptionPlayCache folder, then release the key and select Move to Trash from the Finder’s File menu (alternatively, select Command (⌘)—Backspace (⌫) ). Repeat: open a Finder window, select “Go to Folder” in the Go menu. Type in ~/Library/Caches select enter to proceed to this folder. Open each folder, delete everything, Note: Deleting contents NOT the folders. Repeat: open a Finder window, select “Go to Folder” in the Go menu. Type in /Library/Caches select enter to proceed to this folder. Select Shut Down from Apple menu . Restart MAC, login, make sure KIS is active Retest iTunes If the issue persists, please collect data using KL Logs Gather tool for Mac OS and upload to INC000010850829, along with the data and images you've collected (here). Hi, Unfortunately, the provided GSI doesn't contain information that we need. Could you please provide full GSI archive with Event logs. If the error appears with NTFS path, please set UNC path to this folder. If in both cases the error is returned, you should set permission on this folder correctly this command can be executed. After this command processes without an error, you should launch KSC Backup Task using whether NTFS path or UNC Path (i.e. those path by which this command runs without errors) Thank you! -
Thanks for the reply. I ran into a problem very quickly. I don''t have reports under more tools. I do have a reports button on the front page, along with Scan, Database Update and On-Screen Keyboard.

My image may have mislead you, sorry, I showed the options for you to chose the setting you wished to have, as I don't know if you do or don't wish to use Tablet Mode "ever". If you never wish to use Tablet Mode, the settings should be: Tablet Mode OFF Don't ask & don't switch. Regarding the processes, it's important to verify the starting location of any process being queried. Diagnostics Tracking or DiagTracK (Windows) service, runs automatically, sends data to Microsoft. I disable DiagTracK, (imo) MS have more than enough (of my) data. SettingSyncHost.exe, must be C:\Windows\System32, Windows core system file, synchronises system settings, between devices WirelessKB850NotificationService.exe - must be C:\Windows\System32, MS Mouse & Keyboard software. Must be signed by MS. Regarding OneSyncSvc_5ff70 - Sync Host_5ff70, please post an image of this, including Properties. Thank you. -
