(Windows 10 Ver.1511) Quick and Full Scan stuck at 1%

I recently installed Kaspersky Security Cloud and both the Quick and Full scan options do not progress beyond 1% when selected. When I tried a Selective Scan, it scanned files but it still remained at 1%. I have un-installed and re-installed multiple times and restarted my laptop twice but with the same results. Do I have a really bad virus is my laptop out of date? Do I have some corrupted files (which is most likely since a handful prevented me from resetting my computer)? Any answers or advice is welcome. -

Hello @JR69, @Anton Mefodys, was a bit to quick for us😅 Also, with web.whatsapp.com, we can replicate ½ the issue, images work fine, sound, no go, however, sound also does not work, when the test is done using the parent profile, additionally, the same results when whatsapp is installed as an application on the laptop. To log the case, follow the Application malfunction, Other template After submitting the case, you’ll receive an automated email with an INC+12digits reference number, then, normally, within 5 business days, a Kaspersky Technical Support human will be in touch, also by email, you may continue to engage with the Kaspersky Technical Team via email or by updating the INC in your MyKaspersky account.▶ Please share the outcome with the Community when it’s available? The answer does not help me decide for my particular “malware found” if I should SKIP or DELETE ARCHIVE. Can you please explain when to use SKIP and when DELETE ARCHIVE? Also, I agree with original question: PLEASE add pop up “info” button on SKIP/DELETE box to provide this information right there and facilitate a quick decision!!! THANK YOU!

Hello @Wesly.Zhang , @Berny I think this is the closest we can get. I tried on a website and although it opened the launch page (partially), every click resulted in an empty (single pixel) page. Its not perfect, but its something. Now I need to see if there are any side effects! Thank you -

Thank you for the quick reply but how do i install version 21.2.16.590b . The link sends me to a page that says “Run Database Update to Install patch”. When i run the database update, the version stays at 21.1.15.500. When i click on the Download button, it takes me to the main product page, When i try to download from there, it again tries to download version 21.1.15.500 Is version 21.2.16.590b officially released yet? I don’t know if this is a problem or not but my version of Windows 10 is a bit old. I am running version 10.0.18363. Thank you again for the help -
When I launch the kpm program, I have two windows popped out - One big and another one in the right corned of the screen, and it’s smaller. Anyone knows what can be the issue?

@DesignDude2020 I experienced this as well, took me a while to realize it was Kaspersky. A quick search indicates this is a common problem - I was able resolve my issue by disabling the script injection option and that seems to have worked. -

KIS 20 Says Google Chrome is Using my Webcam ... But It's Not [Solved][Closed]

Hello, @Bukkdog Whenever I launch Google Chrome 77, KIS 20 reports that Chrome is using my webcam. If the home page of Chrome have an Adobe Flash object, This will maybe lead to this situation. Please check home page is default or change to any website or controlled by third-part browser plugin/addone. In gernal, Adobe Flash object need initialize some access device permissions in order to ensure that related devices can be called immediately when used. Regards. -

Hello and thank you for your quick answer! Sorry I am not sure to understand your question: the parent profile? Do you mean KSK parent profile? I am using my Desktop PC to monitor kid devices (computer and android phone), so on the android phone I did only set a child profile and next I’ve modified settings through my Destkop PC & My Kaspersky. I’ve never opened the parent profile on the android phone. -
Estimados, tengo el siguiente nuevo inconveniente: Quiero habilitar Application Control en la directiva para bloquear el inicio de aplicaciones, pero me encuentro con el problema que cuando lo hago me bloquea el uso del Chrome en los usuarios, creo que es por lo que ya está creado de Golden Image, el tema es que no se donde colocar la nueva regla para bloquear o si tengo que eliminar la anterior. No he encontrado info al respecto en internet, solo para agregar la regla que es lo que ya hice. Alguna ayuda por favor? Muchas gracias!! @FLOOD This affects MS Office 365 after I’ve logged in to my work account and attempted to launch MS Outlook in the Edge Chromium browser. BTW, this feature was working fine yesterday. The problem presented itself when I attempted to start working this morning. -

Ok - assuming, as implied, that speedtest results aren’t real. Steam application downloads are: I’ve downloaded ARMA3 4 times. Procedure - configure av software, launch steam, download application, record results, delete steam downloading and arma3 folder, repeast Attached photo shows steam downloads under the following conditions: NO AV software installed Kaspersky Secure Cloud Free - protection enabled Kaspersky Secure Cloud Free -protection disabled Other AV software protection enabled Results: No av software installed, 99.5MB/s current 100.5MB/s peak (800Mbits/second) Kaspersky SC protection enabled, 44.1 MB/s cur 46.3MB/s peak (370 Mbit/second) Kaspersky SC protection disabled 59.3 MB/s cur, 59.9 MB/s peak (479.2 Mbit/second) Other AV Protection Enabled 57.0 MB/s current, 59.1 MB/s peak( 472.8 Mbit/second) My questions: Why does having Kaspersky SC installed result in a 40-60% loss in throughput, EVEN when Protection is disabled. I think it’s reasonable to assume that AV software has overhead, HOWEVER it’s also reasonable to assume that disabling protection would offset the performance tax. Why is there still a high degree of overhead when disabled? Does Kaspersky publish maximum throughput numbers? Why Not? Being transparent about maximum throughput as tested in Kaspersky’s labs would alleviate Kaspersky’s support requests. I read the link tl;dr Download over 100MB Open support case with screen caps. -
[Mac] Facebook App won't run [Solved][Closed]

Hello, I like to play a lot of games on Facebook. One of them is called Pearl’s Peril. When I launch it, the “download” bar appears, it starts downloading the game, but stops every time (see first screenshot). When I disable Kaspersky, the game plays without any problem. I already added 2 urls to the trusted zone (see second screenshot), but this doesn’t change anything. Strange thing is some games (like Angry Birds Friends) do play when Kaspersky is enabled. I upgraded my MacBook Pro 16 inch to Big Sur yesterday and after having problems getting Security and Privacy to accept my "system enhancement" I now can’t get Kaspersky Internet Security (latest version) to connect to the internet in order to do an “update of definitions”. When I go to “My Kaspersky” web site is shows that, in fact, my MacBook Pro is not connected to the net and therefore I am unable to update. I also can not for the life of me get Kaspersky to accept my “hard drive” in order to do either a “quick scan” or “full scan”. Can anybody suggest how I can solve this issue please? Dear Kaspersky Free Antivirus Support Team, How’s things?, I just want to know is using an old version of your free antivirus safe to do so?, as I am on 20. 0.14.1085 (I) 2019 version, after finding it to be what I wanted in a free antivirus with easy to configure settings and with no sign of flaws. Both quick and full scans when tested separately was working well or should I use the 19.0.0.1088 of your free antivirus version instead. -

ok, you can set a quick scan in your group policy for connected usb If you want to allow to connect a usb device for 1 or 2 hours, when the user connect the usb, kaspersky will show you a block message, in this block message you will see a temporal access request just select the device and kaspersky will create a .akey file, you have to move this file to your server and select the device, right click on this and select “Grant access in offline mode” In this windows just select the .akey file and this will show you some values like time to use this file and time to use this device, so you can set 1 or 2 hours, this will create a .acode file just share this file with the user. connect the usb again, when kaspersky show you a block message just select “I have a access code” and select the .acode file.
