  1. I have problem with 10 and 1903 update and KES 10.5 Agent - working, KES - dont. Update from KSC - fails. In my case: i uninstall KES by windows programs and features, reboot. Then launch task to install from KSC and KES 11 installed seccesfully. Try to full delete KES from your device, save agent.

To do so please right-click at inf file and select install from context menu. After the driver is installed please launch installation once again. Please inform u about result.     Cloud item ignored in scan

    Welcome. Please post the full, complete detection details. Full file name, full path, full location, detection verdict. Post screenshot of Reports > Detailed reports > Detected objects. Main Kaspersky window > More Tools > Reports > upper right > Detailed reports > at the upper left, drop down from All Events to Detected objects. How to take and post screenshot: https://support.kaspersky.com/common/diagnostics/492 PrtSc (Print screen) key (upper right part of keyboard)> open Paint (Start > All programs > Accessories) > Edit > Paste, File > Save as (jpeg or png, Not bmp). When replying, bottom left of reply box > Drag files here to attach, or choose files... Submit reply.

  7. FLOOD Can I export rules or something...? I have upgraded 2019 -> 2020, not remove and reinstall, due to too much rules I have to set. Making things worse, applications are available for applying rules, but only after launch it once. I have frequent sign-out issue on Adobe apps so learned excluding each app again is not gonna well.
  8. Yes, it looks like Cesares link helped. However it was a NEW STANDARD UNCHANGED installation which is supposed to be properly debugged and errors properly caught and messaged. There was not SQL related error, just quick setup, which is run automatically after installation, crashed without message. To CAOS > thanks, but I am not paid to betatest standard installations, this is paid software so I expect it to work at least in most basic situations. I installed it anew in new Windows 10 with SQLserver 2019 express and there was the same error. That means that EVERY new installation of SQL2019 server will produce the same error. This is clearly badly debugged setup which might work with SQL2019 server only if it is upgrade of older version.
  9. KSC12 does not work on new fresh standard installation of windows 2019 std server with new standard installation of SQL express 2019 advanced. Stop calling it compatible if it is not. I’m not going to troubleshoot it, reliable sw should work on new installation without exception. KSC is not able to finish quick setup, fails in various parts usually to connect KSN. Even when it finishes (once) then it doesn’t work and violates exception (don’t know which bc didn’t save the error) Web console is even worse, it didn’t even try to start.

I've tried these Q&A for days , but still get SSL failed problem , an ugly solution is : If I launch firefox@sandboxie in KART control panel ( click "Get Premium" button ) , then HTTPS connection works fine with KART + firefox + sandboxie .... But it's not usable for daily , I've downgrade to KART V2 temporary . I am going to wait a new option to STOP SSL scaning in KART V4 , if true then upgrade to KART V4, else stay in KART V2 ....   12. Hi @52daffodill, Once enabled (as per Friend response) the rootkit scan runs automatically once a day and after a PC restart. Also it runs as a part of Full Scan/Quick Scan, so if you have executed a Full Scan, there is no need to run rootkit scan additionally. Regards, Igor

    Thank you for the quick response. Windows Version: 10.0.19041 I restarted laptop and strangely seems to be working fine now so I’m not sure what happened...I hope this doesn’t end up being some kind of intermittent problem.
  14. @Mike89, KIS & KAV are different. The table I posted earlier shows the Components & Features available in KAV. KAV: Kaspersky Protection extension/addon (shield) provides: On Screen Keyboard. Open the Kaspersky Protection extension/addon (shield), please post an image?Thank you.

Hello @display10, Thank you for replying and the image👏 Yes, you have the Kaspersky Protection addon installed👌 “secure keybord input” working is good✅, however, a heads up, according to Kaspersky Lab Technical Support, Sent: Tuesday, 15 October 2019 15:44 “the “secure keybord input” feature requires script injection by Kaspersky, we have received news that Mozilla will be applying a restriction in Firefox, resulting in the loss of the virtual keyboard icon.” The Lab have not provided an ETA for this change. (A) Referring to your image, please select the 3 horizontal dots, that will show you the Kaspersky Protection addon version and will show if Kaspersky Protection addon has “permission” to run in Private browser? (B) Also, please select/open the small (Kaspersky) green shield, in the top of the FireFox browser - highlighted red, please post an image for me? (C) Please show an image of KIS AntiBanner settings? (D) Please show an image of KIS Web AntiVirus settings? (E) May I have an image please, of a “search for Kaspersky Community”, refer my image: Please post back? Thank you🙏

  17. KSK is unable to block access to the internet done through the search function within the TouchPal keyboard, KSK blocking of Bing, Google and it's variants has no affect. This is a major failure with KSK since the internet can be accessed without limitations regardless of the KSK blocking settings.

    Hello @TomFiii, Thank you for replying! For the image, when you see the error, use Firefox “Take a Screenshot” or, on Keyboard⌨ , select PrintScreen, paste the image to Paint, save the image an attach to your post using the Picture icon. Please post back? Thank you
  19. Thank you for your responses. For the time being I have gone with richbuff’s option 2 and referred the problem to support, though I’ve not provided a GSI as I assume that I would need to reinstall Kapersky before doing so and I’m currently trying to catch up on the work I missed doing due to this problem. I am kind of hoping that this may be a know Windows problem with somr kind of known work around though I suspect that it’s not. As for FLOOD’s suggestion I am trying to check on Microsoft’s advisories but need to refine my google search as there seem to be an inordinate number of references to keyboard and mouse lag on the web.

  21. Hello @Shizokok, Normally, Kaspersky Technical Support respond to submitted requests within 24 to 48 hrs, however, we say 5 days, because some people expect them to respond within an hour or 2. If “immediate/quick” support is needed, go to the Contacts page, select your Location, then select Application use & select Online Chat (not available all locations), & or Phone (not available all locations).   22. I have been using Kaspersky Password Manager for about a year without many issues. However, recently, there is a very strange bug on my program. When I use the number bar above the QWERTY characters on the keyboard, it types some characters instead of the numbers. If I use Shift, it types the capitalized version of said characters, instead of these characters ! @ # $ %. This issue also happen at the start screen when the program asks me to input my master password also, making it very inconvenient (since I have special characters in my password) and insecure for me to unlock my passwords. This only happen in my Kaspersky Password Manager and no other programs. I can type numbers normally with the numpad. Here’s a photo of what it types when I try to type in 1 2 3 4 with the number bar.

    Thanks for reply. Good to know there is an archive. As you may have seen, my topic to which I was referring in our correspondence was the last topic in my archived topics called “Enabling The Secure Keyboard in KIS2019 “ At the risk of sounding like a stuck long playing record it is this issue referred to in that topic that remained the same until a few days ago when suddenly the green icon re-appeared on Safe Money sites I may never need to refer to this archived site again but how do I call it up if needed or is this something that I need to request of Community Admin? If you can answer my question in the preceding paragraph then I feel we can close this topic. I will assume that my K protection extension in Chrome is up to date and requires no further action on my part and that there is no answer on why the green icon has fortunately re-appeared If I were to speculate and that is all I can do, it suggests to me that Chrome did something that has corrected the problem and that is as close to an answer as we can ever get to.     Hello @mikethebike, Your post seems to be evolving, I’m not clear which issues are current, may I have images of each issue please? Is the (original) issue, that you do not see the tiny keyboard ⌨ in SafeMoney ID & Password fields or in normal Chrome browser fields or something else? Re the “wrong” advice, they frequently give wrong/conflicting and contradictory “qualified” advice. Thank you🙏
