  1. was a agent policy vs ksc administration policy mismatch that caused one network port not to be open. all corrected now
  2. the installation issue was a port config issue were one of the communication ports had been disabled during the upgrade to the latest KSC version. so that issue is fixed

And regarding the update issue here is some pictures to illustrate what i am meaning. pic 1: Shows the status of the agent and shows that the database is out of date. pic 2: Shows that the latest update tasks have been executed without any issues pic 3: Shows the log of the update at 23:34 2 nights ago pic 4: Shows the log from a couple of minutes ago when i manualy ran the update task. I did verify that I the ksc server had downloaded the latest databases and that they were newer then the latest update task that had been runed on the server.
  4. Hi. here is the gsi report from a server where i have the problem with the installation task not reporting back as it should. one borfore an installation try and one after an installation. the installation did go thrue but the install task in the console did not update (se fig.)

  6. hi i think i hvae mention this in an earlier post. but currently i have 2 issues. since upgrading to the latest ksc i have multiple installation tasks that not reports back to the ksc server at 2% and if my memory serves me right this is regardless of version on agent but as i have already upgraded most servers to network agent 11 the issue is mostly common there. anyone else have this experience? currently I am holding off upgrading any of my servers untill i can confirm this works. the second thing. does anyone else have an issue with servers not updating correctly. what i can deduce is that one update seams to be diconnected halfway and only update some index files and that makes the client think there is no newer updates so the task does not fail it just can not identify newer updates. can i force the task to update the files anyway?? sincearly Fredrik Buchanan
  7. does anyone know if they work on a patch a for the agent? or are we forced to regeister a support case?
  8. I have raised a case regarding this with Kaspersky. so we will se what they say. I am not using gpos or to my knowledge the admin$ share. it could be a firewall issue. but I did not have this issue with previous version of the network agent. I have asked a co worker to test a similar installation but with the older agent but on same server and same software to be installed. I have a nagging suspicion that we have a patch wait for

  10. I If I check the install log on the server I get an installation error but ksc still thinks I am transefering files to the server.

  13. Kaspersky sent me this network agent so that I could install on some secondary domain controllers that the console's default network agent could not be installed. Hi. I tried it but it the install language was german. so I had to pass. is there a English copy?
  14. Hi could someone please translate this. I have an customer were the windows update server service craches on installation of the ks11ws. were thinking if this was related.
  15. Hi. I Have some installation issues with the new agent software. I get it almost only on domain controllers. where I manualy have to uninstall the old client and in half of the cases I can install the new agent. but not always and I have to revert back to the old client. some one said hi problem was solved by the auto patch a for ksc. but that have not solved it for me.
