Hi after upgrading ksc from 12 to 13 and running on sqlexpress15. my database is now full. i have tried to cleare events and stoped storing some of the worst culprits. but now it is full again and i am not able to connect to the ksc with the mmc console. a: is there any way to clean up the database without using the console. b: is the only way to move the database to a another ms sql server that does not have the 10gb limit, to reinstall ksc?? sincerely Fredrik Buchanan

Hi. does anyone successfully used gpo to update ksc agent 10 or 11 to version 12 with gpo. i only manage to install on pc’s that does not have the agent installed. but not on pc that aready have an agent installed. if i run the gpo packet manualy it says the software is already installed and that i have to use ad/remove Program to remove the old software. sincearly Fredrik B

  9. i was there and looked but i could only find for Endpoint Security x for Windows and for virtualization. but not for Security 10 for Windows Server

  11. This is now solved. after updateing the communication certificate. the issue is now remediated.
  12. well that did not help i now think that it is a certificate issue. but if i only replace the certificate all my clients will stop communicating with the ksc. so how do i solve this any tips
  13. as i still have the issue i now thinks this may be a certificate issue. the kaspersky server certificate have not been updated when i have upgraded the server to ksc11 I noticed that the certificate is only a sha1 certificate. i have installed ksc 11 on a separate server and on that server the certificate is sha256. and i think this gives me some weird issues. so i would like to update the certificate. i could only find an article for this on ksc10 but not on ksc11. any suggestions sincearly Fredrik Buchanan

Hi I think i am in the same boat here. i have done an inplace upgrade of ksc 10 to ksc11. and i noticed that the certificate is only a sha1 certificate. i have installed ksc 11 on a separate server and on that server the certificate is sha256. and i think this gives me some weird issues. so i would like to update the certificate. i could only find an article for this on ksc10 but not on ksc11. any suggestions sincearly Fredrik Buchanan
  15. Hi Nicolay. I hope this will clear up the confusion No I want to get a report or export to pdf or csv/xlsx on the settings done in one or more policy that I can show a customer or a coworker to have as discution material when talking about policy changes.

  17. well that did not work. but I think I now have a work around because with the agent patch B I think my installation tasks will work correctly. and then I can reinstall ks10ws and that seams to have solved my issues recently but I still think it would be nice with a force update setting on the client

  19. do you want the trace from the agent side or from the ksc side
  20. my issue is that some currently 40 of my servers tries to update but something happends and it does not get all the files or something but it does not notice it so it does not fail. the result is that next update it will say that the files are updated nothing to do but at the sametimes report an old definition date. this started on ks10ws and is inherited up to ks11ws if I "upgrade" a "broken" installation. I am trying to test to uninstall the "broken" installation and reinstall a newer version 11.1.2.996(?) I an old case on this that is closed when we thought that it would work. but not soon after we had the issue again. currently if the client doesn't thinks it needs an update you can't force an update to replace the files if you think you have an issue with them, so I would like an force/overwrite option.   21. Hi is there anyway to force a definition update even if the client is "updated" I have some servers that only downloads parts of the definition. and then think it is "updated" despit listing an old date. sincearly Fredrik Buchanan
