  1. I've updated to Kaspersky Plus, and so far, I have not gotten the popup message about the Firefox extension, although the app did ask me to enable it. As for WonderShare, I have no idea what it is, so I denied it access in firewall settings. When I searched for WonderShare on Bing or Google, I got no useful results, but after a while my efforts eventually did discover the source of how it got onto my system - "WonderShare Recoverit". I've uninstalled both. It'll take some getting used to the new interface of Kaspersky Plus (I really liked the UI in KTS), but for now, it appears as if my issues have been resolved. Thanks for your patience.
  2. @Flood and Flood's wife Unfortunately, no, I'm still getting that annoying message: So, I'll try the option you suggested of switching to Kaspersky Plus instead.
  3. That explains why the list was not also imported to my Laptop....?
  4. I think I may have stumbled upon a solution to that problem, even if it is a bit technical and out of reach for many users. Being the stickler that I am to backups and data integrity, prior to uninstalling KTS I went to SETTINGS->MANAGE SETTINGS->EXPORT to back a backup copy of the application settings. After the re-install, and verifying that everything was working as intended, I opened the exported CFG file in XML Notepad, and I discovered that the Safe Money settings are also saved, because I search for the URLs for my bank and computer parts suppliers. Having determined the structure of the CFG file, I deleted all "item" branches from "ekaSettings" and "persistenData" that are NOT related to SafeBanking (as it is labelled in the settings file). I then opened SETTING->MANAGE SETTINGS->IMPORT and imported the modified CFG file, and voila! All 35 configured Safe Money URLs were restored, and everything is in order. While I was doing this, I also discovered that the "pragueSettings" branch must not be touched, because I deleted that key, KTS would not import the modified CFG file. Some notes on the experience: It would be nice if the "IMPORT" tool for the settings allowed users to choose which settings are imported, so that we can decide easily to import only those settings that relevant to us as users. Unrelated to the topic at hand, a nice quality-of-life change to Safe Money would be if the context menu that is opened when Kaspersky Tray Icon is right-clicked included a "Safe Money" entry that itself opens a menu that contains all the User-configured URLS. Again, thank you for all your assistance regarding that annoying popup regarding Firefox protection. Your advice appears to have resolved that issue, and I have marked the post that led to this satisfactory conclusion as a solution. But being the stickler for perfection I am, I'll nevertheless keep an eye out on it regardless. ? Thanks for everything!
  5. @Flood and Flood's wife Thank you for your patience regarding this matter. To answer your question earlier about me uninstalling and then reinstalling KTS. Yes, when uninstalling a made sure that only the license information was retained. I lost all my Safe Money settings in the process, but that's a small issue that is easily rectified. I will closely monitor the behavior of KTS and the notification issue for the Firefox Extension and will let you know if I see it again.
  6. The screenshots I showed in my previous post were taken without making any changes to settings. However: 1) Above "Application Interface Language", the only possible choices that that appear there are two options to select either the "Standard Icon" or "Midori Kuma" icon for the KTS tray. 2) I figured the "Network Settings" -> "Scan secure traffic in Mozilla applications" might not the problem. 3) I'll try the "Uninstall/Reinstall" option, even if that is akin to fixing a flat tyre by rebuilding the entire car. 3D) If the Uninstall/reinstall doesn't work, then I'll try the Kaspersky Plus option. Question: Will I still be able to continue using Kaspersky Password Manager if I go this route? EDIT: To show that I uninstalled and reinstalled KTS, here are the following screenshots: Also, when I loaded up Edge, I received this notification (which I did not get with chrome or Firefox): I will let you know if the notification about Firefox returns or not over the next few days.

  8. There are no outstanding notifications, and the only one that has been ignored is Kaspersky Safe Kids. I cannot find any references to Firefox in Notifications. I did, however, find this:
  9. I am still getting the "Activate Kaspersky Extension" message: Everything is up to date. Windows. Firefox. Kaspersky itself. And yet the message persists. I'm at my wits ends here as to what to do to resolve this issue. Honestly, it's getting to be a little bit more annoying than I would care to admit.
  10. Yes, I am. I should have thought to include a screenshot of the Kaspersky FF extension in my original post, but did not. This is what I am using: Since my original post, Firefox has also been updated: I've tried to remove the extension from FF and to re-install it, but that did work. This morning, when I opened Firefox, it briefly said something about needing additional permissions for the Kaspersky extension?
  11. I am persistently getting a notification from Kaspersky Total Security that I need to activate the Kaspersky Protection extension on Mozilla Firefox: Firefox is indeed up to date, and the extension is installed: Why am I persistently getting that notification when the extension is already installed? And how do I fix it so it doesn't happen again? For a matter of record, this only happens with Firefox. Chromium Edge and Google Chrome do not give this problem.
  12. I went online this morning with the intent of doing some Christmas shopping. The site I entered did not open in a green Protected Browser as it has always done in the past. So, I went into Kaspersky Total Security, opened Safe Money to check if something changed. Only I discovered that my entire Safe Money site list was empty. The Safe Money sites list on the first computer contained approximately 40 items. The list was always empty on the second computer. What could have caused the Safe Money sites list on the first computer to be cleared, and how do I get it back? If KTS had the ability to export/import the Safe Money sites list along with general settings, then I’d have not had this problem at all, because I regularly export my KTS setting for backup, and I’d have been able to quickly restore the Safe Money site list. How do I get my Safe Money site list back? How can I prevent this from happening again? Is there a way for me to permanently backup the KTS Safe Money site list, even if it means going into the Windows registry?
  13. Try this: Protect Kaspersky Password Manager with a master password, which can be changed via settings. Ensure that it is set to “Autolock” whenever the screensaver starts on the system. Also, whenever I’ve finished using KPM, I click the “Lock the Vault” icon at the upper-right corner of the program. KPM does not update passwords when locked. You can stop KPM from updating or saving logins and passwords by going into settings and turning of the “Logins and passwords” option found under “General” → “Autosave and autofill”. I usually leave this option ON simply because I always have KPM locked which is unable to save or load logins in this state, and unlock it only when I am going into a website that requires login details.
  14. Thanks, @FLOOD for your trouble. My first primary issue was with KPM using Edge as default and not Firefox. This has been resolved. I’ll just wait awhile for the official KTS add-on for Chromium Edge, which isn’t my default browser anyway. Thanks again. Your quick responses to my queries is precisely why I continue to use and recommend Kaspersky products to everyone.
  15. @FLOOD I went into KPM (9.0.2.1445 (g) / 1579513563_6388 / 1.0.363.0-0.8.3.0_1) , Setting, Browers, and set Default Browser to Mozilla Firefox. It now works as expected, thanks!😀 It would be nice, however, if there was a setting to use the Windows system default. I also got the KPM add-on installed into Chromium Edge also. Now, if only I can get the Kaspersky Protection add-on installed as well…
  16. Kaspersky Password Manager is the best password management software I’ve seen, but I have recently encountered an issue that is rather annoying because it now opens all saved sites in Microsoft Edge and not my system default, Mozilla Firefox: I open the application and enter the master password. I locate the saved login details for whichever site I need to login (For example, https://my.kaspersky.com/). I click on “Open in browser”. The page always opens in Microsoft Edge, I’ve attached a screenshot of the Windows Settings that show Mozilla Firefox is properly set as my default browser. I this issue perhaps related to my recent installation of the new Chromium-based Edge? And if so, how can I resolve this problem? To be clear, I currently have Firefox, Chrome and Chromium Edge browsers installed in my system, which is running Windows 10 x64 Build 1909.
  17. Thank you Yuri, for the help. I have successfully downloaded and written KRD18 to a USB drive. I now just have one other related question - Does the embedded Kaspersky Rescue Tool automatically update its database before scanning when an internet connection is available? Other than that, you can close this thread and mark it as solved. Thanks again.
  18. I’ve tried download KRD18 using Firefox 72.0.2 Chrome 79.0.3945.130 Edge Chromium 79.0.309.68 Yury, while writing this response to you, I started the download using the link you provided. It would appear to be an issue with the original download being over HTTPS and not HTTP, which is working ok. The download is going well around 250KB/s - 300KB/s with an ETA of 40 minutes. Thank you.
  19. I am a long time user of KAspersky Total Security and Kaspersky Rescue Disk. In particular, I’ve been using KRD10 for awhile now, and wish to upgrade to KRD18, but I’ve been having a terrible time with the download: https://rescuedisk.s.kaspersky-labs.com/updatable/2018/krd.iso The Issue I’m having is that the download is extraordinarily slow (between .5KB/s and 16KB/s) and always fails. I have in 4 days not been able to download the ISO image of Kaspersky Rescue Disk 18. This occurs despite my having contacted my ISP to determine whether or not the problem is with my internet connection. Downloads from other sites do not present this issue. My question is this - Are there any mirror sites (perhaps located in South Africa or Europe) from which I can legally download Kaspersky Rescue Disk 18 without trouble?
