Sorry, I tried to post this idea it in the Safe Kids Forum - but something went wrong.

I'm using Safe Kids to block my son gaming on the SmartPhone to long each day. I've set a time limit of 4h a day - and the phone currently block at 4 a.m. in the night, because it was just "on". I want my son to keep the phone on, so he can phone and be phoned. But after 4h all application (exept phone, startscreen, ...) are blocked even he didn't use anyone of them. There are also some application I would allow him to use outside the limt (e.g. "learning vocabulary app") Can the allowence be switched from "Phone is 4h running" to "non blocked applications are used 4h"? In the current form is it not usable for us. Thank you (I've already placed a question in the german forum if this is configurable already. The answer was "no". See here: LINK)

Danke für die Antwort. Leider ist die Funktion für uns so nicht nutzbar. Wenn mein Sohn Vormittags nur telefoniert und auf den Startbildschirm zugreift, oder das Handy einfach nur an ist, damit er erreichbar ist - dann ist nachmittags das Handy bereits gesperrt. Benedikt

Hallo Longlife, danke für die Antwort. Wenn nur die Startseite (oder Telefoniert wird) auf ist, wird das nicht von der erlaubten Zeit abgezogen? Habe ich das richtig verstanden? Ich werde meinen Sohn einmal Fragen, ob etwas anderes als die Startseite offen war, als das Handy schon Nachts sperrte. Benutzt hat er das handy definitiv nicht - er hat geschlafen :-)

Ich habe meinem Sohn das Handy für 4h je Tag freigegeben. Er nutzt sein Samrtphone auch als Wecker und er soll er auch ausserhalb der 4 h z.B. telefonieren können und bestimmte Apps (z.B. Vokabellernen) nutzen können. deshalb schaltet er das handy nie aus. Das Smartphone blockiert nun aber um 4 Uhr nachts - nach dem es 4h an war - auch wenn es nicht benutzt wurde. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, Safe Kids so einzustellen, dass es nach 4h Nutzung blockiert und nicht nach 4h "Power On"? Danke für die Hilfe Benedikt
