Hi, For about 3 months now I’m no longer able to skip ads on Youtube. The skip button doesn’t overlay anymore on the video. So for my only workaround is to wait 4 seconds and then refresh the page. It’s extremely annoying and today I’ve finally gotten around to investigating the root causes. It seems to be due to the newer version of the Kaspersky Chrome extension. If I disable it, I’m able to finally skip Youtube ads again. KIS keeps giving me a notification telling me to install the Kaspersky Protection add-on to Firefox. But when I try to Firefox tells me that it’s not recommended. Why is this happening, and could Kaspersky please do whatever is needed to allow Mozilla to recommend it? I’m using Firefox 73.0.1 and Windows 10 Home.

I have been using the Yi Desktop application for windows on one computer for several years and recently tried to install it on another desktop. After several attempts, I have ceased and wanted to check with Kaspersky to see what may have changed. My 2020 KIS will allow me to download the app, but stops the installation and then quarantines the download & request restart. I’ve just joined here as the other forum is shut was long time member. I was previously using KIS2018 and all was fine. I had not upgraded to 2019 because when i initially tried there were compatibility issues with Nord VPN. Running Win 7 professional x64 with all updates (inc ESU). The PC is a dell, dual graphics card i5 CPU with 16GB RAM. I updated to the KIS2020 patch h but now KIS won’t even start. I get a graphics card driver error then multiple other error popups before I’m prompted to terminate Kaspersky. Hi. Kaspersky Internet Security did not inform me that it’s File Anti-Virus subsystem was making an interference in the installation of Oracle_VM_VirtualBox_Extension_Pack-6.0.20-137117. I’m talking about the Notification and Logging (Reports) subsystems. I’m not talking about the File Anti-Virus subsystem. (Whether my setup was problematic, or VirtualBox did it non-standard, or Kaspersky File Anti-Virus made a wrong interference, can be target of another discussion. I am using Kis 2020.I sometimes use Kis in interactive mode, I change the tick under “Network access” of “Trusted” group to “?”, so it even asks me if I allow internet connections of the apps in “Trusted” group. Hi, I have tried to install the internet security package on my Imac and it will not load the kernal extension. I cant delete and reinstall the application and have tried to restart but it will not bypass this screen. I am on OS Catalina 10.15.6

I have a windows 10 pc with good specs like i5 8th processor, 16 gb ram etc and good internet broadband connection of speed 50 mbps. I have recently purchased KIS subscription. But when I keep features like Web-antivirus or Private browsing or Anti-banner ON, webpages on firefox and Chrome either take many minutes to load or don't load at all. So I am not able to browse keeping these KIS features ON. I even tried keeping Web-antivirus security to low but it was to no avail. All 3 features have to be kept OFF in order to browse conveniently. But then, I am getting no internet protection at all. What should I do?

I have noticed the Kaspersky system tray icon for KIS version 21.2.16.590 is continually static. With last year’s version 20.x.x.x it pulsed when downloads were being monitored and other sources were accessed. Is this correct for this latest version?

In some websites (houses for rent listing websites for example), the images are not loading and the kaspersky extension doesn’t show any options (example in screenshots). In previous versions of KIS there was an item in the context menu from the icon in the system tray to allow launching Safe Money manually. I keep this computer turned on all of the time, all Sleep, Hibernate functions are disabled in Windows, set to Never. Hi all, Brave browser is supported by KPM (brave.exe in install path) but kaspersky protection addon is greyed out… If i rename brave.exe to chrome.exe then KPM addon is greyed out and Kaspersky protection working…. So there is one or two never both working together. @Igor Kurzin @Anton Mefodys any fix for this?

I saw the related topics before i submitted this article, but some of these solutions still don’t work. I am using Edge Chromium 90.0.818.51 and paid subscription of Kaspersky Internet Security.
