Hi folks I have the following question: On my desktop I have KIS 2020 (20.0.14.1085). Recently came the patch d. What I found strange was that this update did not prompt me to restart my pc, nor on the reliability monitor is there any indication for a reconfiguration or update of the application or any other component. I would be grateful for any clarification if possible. Greetings John

I’ve found out that I’m being charged for Internet Security and Total Security since 2017. When Kaspersky offered the Total Security for 3 devices in 2017 for a 2yr contract I thought it would supersede the yearly Internet Security subscription but they’ve continued to charge me, one payment from a current account (yearly) and one from a credit card account 2 yearly). Total does what KIS does apparently that’s why I bought it and for more devices. I feel I’ve been conned. Can I get money back?

I have 3 one year unused Internet Security (2019) licences. Will they expire. Can I use the last one in 3 years?

Kaspersky still changing rules (privacy policy etc). Right now i just automatically obtained patch j for KPM and here is window that i must accept new privacy policy (link is not functional Error 404 but i must accept?) Hi, please help. when I try to update to new version, I’m told to uninstall AVG. I uninstalled AVG as requested, it then says reboot. After I reboot it says remove AVG again, then says it’s been uninstalled then asks me to reboot again. I’m going round in circles, stuck on this same problem. Thanks for any advice.

Hey guys, Today I received a notification in the windows app saying that there’s a discount for valentine’s day for 40% using the code VALENTINE40, however when I’m trying to renew my license and apply the code at checkout it says that it is invalid. One of my four devices does not show up on My Kaspersky. The separate licence I bought for it and activated on that Android device is shown on My Kaspersky as not having a device connected. This means that I am unable to use the anti-theft features for which I have paid. I have tried re-installing KIS various ways without success.

I just reinstalled KIS for the second time since May 7. I had to do so because it was interfering with websites I go to every day, including Facebook. Facebook would not load properly at all. It would come up as dozens of lines of what look like the Wing-Ding font and other sites would have formatting stuff not work leaving the page to look like a website from the 90s. Those problems would stop when I paused the protection KIS provides. On top of those problems the program itself wouldn't actually load up either, or it would but then would go away but Windows wouldn't argue about not having virus or firewall protection. Ever since Talk Talk asked me to update my account password I have not been able to access my Outlook email account without constantly getting a pop-up box asking me to enter my password. I have tried numerous times to go into my email settings to change them or repair or add a new account. None of these have worked. Does safe messaging also protect against malware deployed without ever opening the text or does it scan the links only? I’ve read that some texts can be malicious through the multimedia messaging service without clicking on a link but just by opening it...and that it might even be possible to get infected without even opening the text (just by receiving it in the first place). Any insight appreciated!

I posted once before wanting to be able to tell Kaspersky to not scan a file it says is a problem. I know what the file is and it is not a problem. Will exclusions ever be added to the android version of the application?

Good day. Today my KIS 21.1.15.500 has been updated to patch (b). Updated only 873Kb. Is this patch really that small?

For some months Google Chrome I could not update or install Google Chrome, The installer comes up with a message that it could not uncompress an archive. When I uninstall Kapersky Internet Security, Chrome installs with no problem. If I then reinstall Kapersky the Chrome install fails in the same way. I am running 32 bit Windows 10 on a slowish PC with a dual CPU processor, a solid state hard drive and 4GByte of memory.
