Kaspersky Anti-Virus

My computer is infected with Gandcrab 5.2 and all my files were not accessible. Anyone can help me how can I in anyway able to open my file. Thanks in advance.

KIS 2019 is getting patch E. Will KAV get patch E as well ?

Greetings, i have KAV 19.0.0.1088(d) and W10 1809 installed with all the latest updates. I recently installed Ubuntu to work with the linux subsystem for windows so i can compile some things. I noticed that the compilation time is way higher compared to doing the same thing on a virtual machine, so i opened task manager and noticed that kav is taking 50% of the cpu while compiling. I tried pausing KAV, it does nothing, the process still runs at 50% I tried adding the folder where all the linux files are stored (C:\Users\User Name\AppData\Local\Packages\CanonicalGroupLimited.Ubuntu18.04onWindows_79rhkp1fndgsc) to the exclusion list but it doesn't solve the problem. Hi all, Out of nowhere, having used Kaspersky Anti-Virus (OSX) for years, I seem unable to run it over the last 24hrs without it taking a ridiculously long time (currently at 5% after running for over 12 hours with "286 hours to go"). As tempting as it is to draw a parallel between this and the suddenly/bizarrely new/different Kaspersky community forum, I'm hoping someone can help me shed some light on what might be the problem. I have tried rebooting, and I've looked to see whether there are any files that it's hanging on: nada. Thanks!

Better alternative to kaspersky ? Kaspersky now looks like a free antivirus with lots of ads and popups BUT PAID! I remember using kaspersky more than 10 years ago, it was the best antivirus by far. It was light, no ads and got rid of everything without annoying you. Anyone know a antivirus that has no annoying ads ? Light ? It can be paid. Thank you!

Hi, I did not purchase Kaspersky product. I purchased asus motherboard and it got kaspersky for asus application. I installed that and got a 1 year free license. how ever I had Kaspersky Antivirus 2016 and this site suggested me to download 2019. When i installed Kaspersky antivirus 2019 the license was gone. what should i do? can i upgrade the 2016 license to 2019? Thanks in advance.
