Windows tells me my computer is unprotected despite having Kaspersky Subscription.

This started since the last Windows 10 update. Every time I start my laptop, it tells me that my computer is unprotected and that neither Kaspersky nor Windows Defender is turned on. When I click Security settings, it tells me to Turn On Kaspersky but nothing happens. On the other hand, Kaspersky tells me my protection is live. How to solve this?

Can you please check in MSCONFIG the status from WD in “Services” and “Startup”.

Hi @Berny, thanks for the reply. So it says Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection is stopped. I can't turn it back on if I click start. I assume this is because Kaspersky is overriding it. Kaspersky itself says it's running but I keep getting the same message.
