hello,

I recently just downloaded Kaspersky plus on my macbook and noticed that the green/yellow/red shields next to the urls in the search results are not there. I downloaded the google chrome extension and even double checked to see that url advisor was on.   I have tried restarting my mac and reinstalling the entire Kaspersky software but nothing seems to work. 

I use Kaspersky on a windows device aswell and it works perfectly there.

Os= sonoma 14

I forced deleted the application from my mac (this was because the full scan function was not working properly and was stuck on 1% for hours), so I do not know the software version, but since I downloaded it straight from the Kas website, Im assuming it was the lastest version.

I have been a happy Kas plus AV user for about 3 years but these 2 experiences with the software on my mac has left a bad taste in my mouth.

  1. When Kaspersky was installed were all the necessary permissions granted? READ: Start application for the first time
  2. There is another report of a similar issue for mac user @Trashcan: URL Adviser / URL Advisor not working (green icons missing in searchg results), for that @Mikhail Shakhov advised: "Your issue on Mac product must be analyzed by Mac-team" -> please log it with Kaspersky Customer Serviceon the support page: https://support.kaspersky.com/b2c#contacts  - select either Chat or Email, fill in the template as shown - please include a *detailed history*.
  3. Please post back the Incident reference number, it's prefixed with INC0000? 
  4. *Also - IF using Chat - ask the operator to email (you) a copy of the chat transcript *before* ending the chat - otherwise (you'll) have no record of the chat*
