storing docs in vault

Is it possible to store .xlxs and .doc files in the vault. I see that i could save files to vault only in pdf format. Any solution or idea on the above??

Welcome!

The (different format) issue has been raised with Kaspersky Technical Support, unfortunately, atm, . JPEG. PNG .BMP and .PDF files containing text, are the only supported formats.

(As a workaround) is it possible to convert/save your source docs as .pdf or image file format?

I understand and can store docs in pdf . However, then I cannot edit it. Even if i download the docs on to my pc it is still in pdf which is not editable easily. Saving in original file format .doc or .xlxs would be best as they are editable thus not requiring to keep a copy on the pc which is the sole purpose of storing in the vault!!

I understand  &  agree  @sharve, 

Unfortunately, atm, the  import formats are limited to .pdf & the image formats as listed in my earlier reply.
