  3. (Parent device) Mac Os version?
  4. (Parent device) Kaspersky Safe Kids version?
  5. Which browser (name & version) is used (by your child) to access the internet?
  6. Are other events showing in the KSK reports?

Please let me know?

Thank you🙏

Hello @Vangry,

Excellent👌 Thank you!

Has the Web Activity reporting ever worked?

Please let me know?

Thank you🙏

Flood🐳

Never worked for me unfortunately.

When I select 7 days or 30 day it still says No information for the selected period.

Hello @Vangry,

Thank you!

1 In the image, it's showing the Child’s device cannot be located, is the MAC actually connected, synced, check the Devices Tab, the  Mac should show as Connected.🤔

2 Is your Windows device correctly synced with the MyKaspersky account, check the Devices Tab, your Windows device should show as Connected🤔

  • If both Mac & Windows are correctly connected:

3 On your Child’s Mac:

  • Please install Chrome v80.0.3987.116.
  • Shutdown, restart Mac.
  • Make sure KSK is active.
  • Start Chrome.
  • Run Internet search tests on any of the Categories that are Forbidden.

4 On your Windows device, check Summary Internet Report?

  • Please let me know?

Thank you🙏

Edit: 1 correction, (I) can see the Mac conx, apologies for my decrepit 👀s & 👓s😓

Okay I just installed chrome and I just got one web activity when i tried to install chrome.

I tried Installing Firefox to do some tests and no web activity is showing up.

I did run tests on the Forbidden categories and nothing seems to be blocked by KSK.

Also all devices look connected on mykaspersky account.

Attached some screenshots below.

  3. Does the install of Firefox also show up in the Reports?
  4. What (Mac) account permissions is your child’s account set up with?
  5. What MyKaspersky, KSK Notifications have been configured

Please let me know?

Hello @Vangry,

Thank you!
Mac device  , Manageyes, that makes sense👌

  • For clarification, in Reports, is there any entry for Firefox, or is Firefox only showing in Notifications🤔

➡ Observation, in Notifications, Chrome has Edit settings, Firefox does not🤔

  • Since installing Chrome, has Settings been modified for the browser🤔

Please let me know?

  • Also, I’m going to install Firefox on my child’s device & see the result, allow me a little time please?

Thank you🙏

I think I got It to work!

Here is what i did:

  1. Reset My Kaspersky Password.
  2. Reinstall KSK on Childs Mac and Enter New Password.

Now I’m getting Forbidden blocked requests and search queries made on Safari.

I guess no need to install chrome anymore.

You can consider this post solved thanks for the help Flood.

Okay after further testing I noticed that If I restart the Mac or shutdown KSK won’t block websites anymore and won’t log web events to mykaspersky.

Not sure what would cause that. The only way to get it up and running again Is to uninstall KSK on the mac and reinstall it again every time i restart the mac which Is a pain to do.

Please advise.

Hello @Vangry,

Thank you for the update👌

Yes, frequently uninstalling & reinstalling KSK after shutting down & restarting the MAC is a total PIA, & absolutely unacceptable! Clearly something is not as it should be🤔

  1. ➡ Please confirm KSK is in the Startup programs list?
  2. ➡ Please confim that no MAC inbuilt Parental Control features are enabled?
  3. ➡ When KSK is working, do the statistics on visited websites according to the content categories, show in the KSK Reports?

Please let me know?

Thank you🙏

Hello @Vangry,

Thank you for the confirmation/update👌

  1. ➡ Please confirm KSK is in the Startup programs list?
  2. ➡ With  Report - statistics per categories, are those events showing even when the Block function is not working?
  3. ➡ Please export the 7day Report, it will download as a .csv file, change the file extension to .txt & attach📎 to your reply please?

Please let me know?

Thank you🙏

Hello @Vangry,

Thank you for the additional information & the data👌

➡ As you’ve confirmed KSK/MAC system requirements & you’ve uninstalled & reinstalled KSK according to documented procedures, and done extensive troubleshooting, to no avail, please request Kaspersky Technical Support investigate the issue?

➡ Please provide the detailed history, with all the information you’ve gathered to date, including images & the Report. The Technical Team will request Mac Logs and they may request KSK Traces, run as the issues are replicated, they will guide you with the steps necessary to collect the traces.

🚫 Please ensure they clearly understand the Block events are intermittently not being reported, after the MAC is shutdown, unless KSK is uninstalled & reinstalled after each MAC startup.

  • Please let us know their solution when they provide one?

Thank you🙏
