Now that Kaspersky is no longer available on Google app store, it is pretty difficult to find out whether or not a new version of Kaspersky for Android is available. Would it be possible to integrate a check-for-new-updates option into the mobile versions?

Additionally, it would be useful to add the current version number plus the change log of the latest mobile app to https://www.kaspersky.com/mobile-security I know that I can find out the current version number at https://galaxystore.samsung.com/detail/com.kms.free, but this is not really the best solution to find out whether or not I need to update my Android version.

Thanks for reading.

As I have  PIXEL 6 phone, I don't seem to be able to even check, let alone download updates to either that phone or my LENOVO Tablet.

Any solutions? Has me feeling like I'm going to have to get a different product to handle my security. I really hope I can feel the confidence to remain with you guys. I've always trusted K, but hope it's not my naivety that will cost me.

You can trust me to always speak to the truth and the elephant in the room.  Just ask the various committees I'm on how crazy I drive them with those questions no-one really want asked.

Looking forward to hearing a solution so I can still feel safe on my devices.

Hello @Papadingo

Welcome!

Is Kaspersky not available at *any* of the sources - as per this guide - including the .apk, direct from Kaspersky: How to download Kaspersky applications on Android and iOS?

Please advise?

Thank you🙏

Thank you Flood and Floods Wife.

I downloaded the APK file and installed it on the pixel. Version now shows 11.117.4.12732.

That was after getting the message about Not Allowed to Install Unknown source. I gave it the go ahead.

After opening KASP it did still give me the message about updating. After I powered off and on, message went and new features appeared.

Next was the Lenova. Went through without a hitch.

Thank you, again, for your help.

Not sure why the other stores were a challenge, but this bypass worked perfectly.

They DID all want me to log in/Sign up. I'm on enough already without adding even more.

Thanks

According to the Huawei AppGallery, Kaspersky for Android v11.118 has been available since 5th November. When I download the APK file from Kaspersky, I still get version 11.117. Have the Kaspersky servers not been updated yet?

Thanks for the info, @Danila T.. There is no changelog for the new build, or is there?
