Password Manger and Safe Money problem

Using windows 11 & Edge Browser. When Safe Money is applied to a website it opens a second window in the browser. Password Manager however does not pick up this second window and fill in details stored in Password Manager? If I turn Safe Money off for the site the details are picked up and inserted in the website login. (but not in a safe window. Any solutions

Welcome!

  • Just as FYI, the "When Safe Money is applied to a website it opens a second window in the browser", is normal, the "second window", is the Safe Money, Protected browser. 
  1. Does the issue happen with only one specific website or every website that's configured in the Safe Money app? 
  2. Does the same issue happen in other supported browsers: Google Chrome & Firefox
  3. In Password Manager, which browser is selected as the Default browser
  4. Which KPM version ->  on the Windows taskbar or hidden icons, rightclick the KPM icon, select About
  5. Which Kaspersky Anti-Virus is installed please, Kaspersky Total Security or Kaspersky Internet Security, & the version & patch(x), x = letter,  on the Windows taskbar or hidden icons, rightclick the Kaspersky icon, select About

2. Not loaded Chrome or firefox yet giving Microsoft Edge a try on new pc?

3. P Mgr. - Microsoft Edge, Safe Money - Chromium based Microsoft Edge

Hello @Frank C

  1. If the website is configured in the Safe money app, but opened directly in the browser, not from KTS, Safe Money app, does the issue repeat? 
  2. Did you test Chrome & Firefox? 
  3. IF you believe the issue is KPM & or KTS - Safe Money, please log a case with  Kaspersky Support; on the support page select either Chat or Email, then select Application malfunction, Other template; Support may need logs, traces & other data, they will guide you; it may help Support if you include a video of the issue... 
  • Note, we tested both KTS & K+ & could not replicate: 
  • If you do log the issue with Support, please share the outcome with the Community, when it's available?

Kaspersky Support solution; >
Install the 'Kaspersky Password Manager' on the 2nd browser window that automatically opens when 'Safe Money' is turned on for a particular website. (i.e. 'Safe Money' green bordered window).
